Shoemaker is a stud. Him and Richards are 10X better than Wilson and Weaver at this point.

this is a COMPLETELY different team.

The difference between the 2014 Cubs and 2015 Cubs will be similar to the difference between the 2012 Red Sox to the 2013 Red Sox

            They have shitload of weaknesses.

Castro is a good shortstop with a 5 cent brain.
Coghlan is a .270 hitter with no pop. He's the 96th rated outfielder in the game.
Fowler? Away from Coors (and Houston his home team for 36 games) he's a .245 hitter.

            Yeah, if you like strikeouts.

think Mike Trout and Yasiel Puig - that is the type of potential these players have.

No, I'm thinking Dave Kingman and any other high volume strikeout batter you can name

Here's more data - note the strikeout column

            1 Dexter Fowler OF 448 68 10 40 14 0.277 0.377 0.402 0.779 69 114

            4 Jorge Soler OF 508 71 26 82 4 0.268 0.324 0.488 0.812 42 119
            5 Miguel Montero C 360 34 10 50 0 0.244 0.332 0.372 0.704 43 81
            6 Chris Coghlan OF 367 43 7 35 6 0.267 0.337 0.398 0.735 37 77
            7 Javier Baez 2B 360 46 17 41 9 0.208 0.262 0.392 0.654 24 131

            Rizzo is legit.

On paper, they win going away.
But they are chalky chalk, can't turn much of a profit.

Fishies in a couple of years are going to be a force.

What exactly exites you about Soler?
If he played every game for the Cubs last year he would have struck out 150 times.

                  Soler passes the eye test.

I've seen enough baseball to know he will be a super star.

Nationals will not win the NL i guarantee that.

                  not enough offense.

The eye test where he strikes out twice a game?

                    Not enough offense?
                    You're out of your mind.

What's sad is you believe your shit, it's one thing to just troll, but the shit you post is head scratch material.

I know ESPN says the Cubs will be better this year. They won 73 games last year. They may hit 83. The NL Central will be competitive this year. Cards, Pirates, Reds, Brewers, and Cubs may all hover around the low 80's. I can't see anyone running away with the division.

soler's K% nowhere close to bryant or baez in the minors, could see him be the best of the 3 if bryant doesn't pan out
