Mark Melancon and Jason Grilli are the best set-up and closer combo in MLB!

I want to know who predicted that Grilli would be the best closer out of the gates. Unreal.

        Not many, including me.

Initially I was upset that they got rid of Hanrahan, but it couldn't have turned out any better so far...

I picked him up in a draft, but expected nothing like this.

Your lefty Justin Wilson is doing pretty nice too.

Yeah, he's been very solid as has the entire staff. In fact, the NL Central boasts the best pitching in MLB to date...

                koz-man,

What a huge early season series for both of us this weekend here at PNC Park.

I'd like to wish you luck, but then again...
Regardless of our alliances, it should definitely be a fun series to watch!

Agree. Nice pitching match-up tonight to start it off. I like Wandy and have him on one of my teams.

                      Hey koz-man!

Let us have at least one this weekend, alright?

Better yet, let us at least get on the scoreboard this weekend!

Oh I don't know.? lol We need todays game to tie up the years series.

I can't believe the way Mike "Kelly" Leake has been pitching lately.

I guess Tony Cingrani appearance has lit a fire under his ass.

Feeling very fortunate to take Sunday's game. You're right, Leake has been throwing very well.

By the way, Jonathan Broxton is my favorite Red!

Domonic Brown has gone yard in 9 of his last 10 games and leads the NL with 17 HR's on the year.

I can't believe his hot streak right now.
I did grab him in one league and I could have had him in my other one, but passed.

I missed him too. He was picked up on the 28th in my league, so everybody had chances.

I did get Puig though. 2HR and 5RBI night so far.

yea I think he went late in most drafts. Not many saw this coming, I didn't that's for sure

Any advice on Angel Pagan (keep or drop). I really need some pitching with Peavy & Wandy hurting.

I mostly need Pagan for SB, But with a tender hammy will he continue to run once he returns?

Julio Teheran with an absolute gem against the Buccos tonight...

                                        J Teheran
                                        (W, 4-2)

We need to find some sleepers. I have to many injured pitchers right now.

I'm in a Keeper League, so most young pitchers are held on to. Teheran was picked up early May even while he was struggling a bit early on.

Jordan Lyles will be getting me through tomorrow.

The Buccos open as slight favorites with the O/U at 7.5

Weather could be an issue around first pitch but getting the game in shouldn't be a problem.
