Going to go back through the thread so my apologies if I missed it - is there a minimum # of bets that is needed for a play to be viable? For example if a team is a public dog but there are only 2,000 bets on it, would you play it the same as if there was a game with a public dog that had 20,000 bets?

probably true, but it opened at -2 and -1 at pinnacle and 5dimes, probably the two biggest offshore books. pregame has it opening at +1. i have no idea where they get their opening numbers (or closing numbers for that matter) because they do differ from the bigger books.

Diesel, good job finding this trend. Looking good so far in the 2 weeks you tried it. Have you back tracked from the start of the year to see what the record would be to date? I like it and seems simple to understand. The main factor would be where you get your lines from since there are many to choose from. Is there a website that would give a line consensus of the Las Vegas sportsbooks? Maybe that would be a great place to base the line movement, etc. I wish your system didn't pick Fresno as Hawaii is playing them today. I'll be rooting for my team and not put anything down on that game.

It's just tp much time involved in back tracking.
I only use pregame numbers. You have to stick with one place or you will be chasing lines all day.
