ahh, the slippery slope.

my prediction is this. after all is said and done, these kinds of plays will break about even.

i've tracked this stuff over thousands of games. it's fun to watch, but i have yet to see any system ever that showed a long run positive gain.

think about it...the public is the public. should it matter if it's pro, college or aussie rules football? it shouldn't.

i was going with the public in baseball run lines over +140, and it worked really well...for a while. but all chickens come home to roost.

not criticizing diesel, just pointing out my experience in the matter.

all that said, i'll still be watching.

You are right my friend as I stated before the public will have it's days to. But I think this system is a way to get a small upper edge on these games. Hell if it easy we would all be rich.

You might want to look at Vegas insider to look at the line history but they don't give %'s. Scores and Odds, SportsBook, and 2-min warning are also good as well. There are others but those are a few I look at. I forget what page it's on but Diesel mentions where he goes in this thread too...it's pregame

i've used pregame and others. i thought there my be a website that explicitly tracks that movement without me having to do it. just being lazy. also: for the KU kstate game on thursday, the over/under is 50.5. Any way to track its movement or see which side the public is on? I want to go with the under right now

If you scroll down to the "Team Line Action" section it says the public is favoring Kansas yet thats not the case on pregame. Pregame says that most of the betting is on KSU, 74%... Also, the line has moved down to 2.5, so shouldn't that entice even more people to bet on KSU? Does that indicate the sharps are on KU? Confusion

also if im reading the graph right, the line has decreased while the amount of betting on KU has decreased. that doesn't make sense...

That site only uses one book that you are lookin at. Pregame gets an average from all the major books. That's the difference Romanov

there is reverse line movement on the central florida vs marshall game I think. Most of the bets are on UCF but the line has dropped 1.5 points since opening (from 6.5 to 5). I don't know if I have the balls to bet Marshall but I should...

Because tonight's game is a clusterfuck, I am looking ahead at our pub-dog games this weekend:

Right now it looks like we have Clemson, South Carolina, Ohio, Northern Illinois, Navy, Texas Tech, Auburn, Air Force (maybe), Nevada, Georgia Tech, and Western Kentucky.

I really like South Carolina and Texas Tech.
