To get on the white list you can't hold in a centralized exchange such as Gate. You would need to hold the HERO in a wallet. Mine is at Metamask.

If he is going to offer lots of these domes on mars as he chooses, doesn't that mean he is effectively printing "money" and devaluing exisiting assets as he does so?

And what do you make of him making a new token and not just using HERO?

You make some good points and there are definitely a lot of things that have to be looked into further. I'm riding this wave now since everyone that holds HERO gets on the white list for the Everdome presale. If you sell even one HERO, you get knocked off the list. A lot of incentive not to sell HERO right now.
