Jeremiyah Love became just the seventh running back selected in the top 10 since 2015, after the Arizona Cardinals selected him at No. 3 in 2026. That's now three running backs in the top 10 in the last three years, after only five were taken in the previous eight.

Wide receivers are trending upward

Despite only four wide receivers being selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, this seems like a blip, not the start of a new trend. After all, in the 2026 NFL Draft, six wide receivers were selected in the first round, and in 2024 that number was seven, which tied with 2004 for the most ever. In 2023, only four wide receivers were selected in the first round, but in 2022, there were six. Use this information and consider a long-shot wide receiver bet.
