Emma Johnson is a research engineer and longtime bird enthusiast based in Washington state. She earned a degree in biomedical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before moving to Seattle in 2020. When she’s not working, she enjoys birding, writing about birds, writing code for bird-related projects, and exploring the natural world of the Pacific Northwest.
