💰 Best World Cup prediction today

Harry Kane anytime goal (+180) vs. Mexico

Harry Kane saved England's bacon against DR Congo, which has become customary for the Three Lions. He scored two goals in the last 15 minutes of the match to ensure England's spot in the Round of 16. It wasn't just the timing of those goals, but also the nature of them.

His second was arguably the best goal of the World Cup, struck with unreal venom from a lateral position. He has scored five goals in four matches, extending a prolific season that included 61 goals in 51 matches for Bayern Munich.

🔥 More World Cup predictions for Sunday

England vs. Mexico regulation draw (+210)

The number of issues to overcome are stacked against England for Sunday's match. Mexico enjoyed an extra day off; they've had the benefit of no travel and will enjoy the partisan, feverish support from over 90,000 Mexicans.

Mexico are also familiar and adjusted to playing at altitude, which England are not. England won't have enough time to fully acclimate, giving the lower-ranked team a discernible advantage. It will be a slugfest, and I expect the match to be settled in extra time, possibly penalties.

Norway vs. Brazil Over 2.5 goals (-133)

Brazil have conceded at least one goal in eight of the previous 11 matches. Two of those three exceptions came against Scotland and Haiti, teams with toothless attacks. Norway scored eight goals in the first four matches and managed one against France without Haaland, who was rested for the knockout stage.

Norway, meanwhile, allowed at least one goal in 10 of the previous 11 matches.

Norway vs. Brazil odds: Norway (+310) | Brazil (-121) | Tie (+270)

Erling Haaland anytime goal (+125) vs. Brazil

Haaland poses a menacing threat regardless of the team he's facing. He has scored five goals in three matches thus far, including the all-important winner against Ivory Coast in the 86th minute.

His goal-scoring record is ridiculous for club and country, bagging 60 goals in 53 matches for Norway. And he's had success against Brazil center-back Gabriel in the Premier League. The occasion won't overawe him, and if he gets a chance, I expect the net to ripple.
