I'm focusing on goals, goals, and more goals for Monday's edition of the NHL player props today.

Featuring Nathan MacKinnon, whom I expect to enjoy another multi-point outing, I'm also backing Connor McDavid, Tage Thompson, and Tim Stutzle to light the lamp. These four picks are part of the NHL best bets series, offered daily.

Connor McDavid Over 3.5 shots (+136) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

McDavid has six goals in the last six games, scoring at least one in five of those encounters. With 24 goals, he's tied for third with Minnesota's Matt Boldy. Backing him to score against the Winnipeg Jets (+140 odds) is a solid play.

I'm going with his shots Over, though, as McDavid fired at least four shots on goal in five of the previous six and four straight, averaging six during the current consecutive run.

Nathan MacKinnon Over 1.5 points (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

MacKinnon has at least two points in three of the previous four matchups against the Los Angeles Kings, and he has multi-point outings in six of the previous eight games.  

It's been two games since he secured a multi-point outing at home, which could be bad news for Los Angeles. Of the best sports betting sites, FanDuel offers the best price. 

Tage Thompson anytime goal (+180) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thompson is kicking it into high gear, unsurprisingly coinciding with the Sabres' recent winning ways. He had a six-game goal-scoring streak recently come to an end, he has points in eight of his last nine and is facing a St. Louis Blues team with one of the worst collective defensive records. 

And Thompson has scored on his last two visits to St. Louis. 

Tim Stutzle anytime goal (+170) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stutzle extended his goal-scoring streak on Saturday to four games, which pleased me after backing the 23-year-old. The German has eight goals in the previous nine games, with only McDavid scoring more in that sample size. 

The Sens' offense has erupted lately, scoring at least four goals in four of the last five encounters. He also scored a pair against the Columbus Blue Jackets, tonight's opponent, in the previous meeting between the teams.
