⬆️ Robert Thomas Over 0.5 assists (-143) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With 60 assists in 70 games last season, Thomas is one of the more reliable setup men in the NHL. He has one assist through three games, but faces a Chicago Blackhawks team against which he has four in the last five meetings.

The -143 odds at Caesars represent the best value of the best sports betting sites, and while it's a hefty price to pay, I'm confident it will hit.

Guenther is a mammoth contributor when he faces the Calgary Flames. The Utah forward has four assists in the last three contests against Calgary, three of which came in the previous two meetings in the friendly confines of the Delta Center. 

I'm even more confident in the pick due to Calgary's presumed starting goaltender, Devin Cooley. The Flames' No. 1 goaltender, Dustin Wolf, played against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday and hasn't been rested yet.

Cooley, the former AHL all-star, was shaky in preseason and probably won't be a part of the team for long if he doesn't recapture some of his lost confidence. He made six starts last season for the San Jose Sharks, sporting a swollen 4.98 goals-against average and .870 save percentage.

You'll earn $13 on a $10 bet at DraftKings if Guenther registers at least one helper.

🔥 Clayton Keller (+180) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Like Guenther, Keller douses the Flames. The Utah Mammoth captain has a goal in three straight against Calgary and seven in the last seven. He hasn't scored in the first three games this season and will be steely focused on getting off the schneid against a team he often lights the lamp against.  

If Cooley gets the nod in goal for the Flames, I'd place Keller's implied probability over 40% rather than the 35.71% the +180 odds imply. A winning $10 bet will profit $18. At the low end of the market, FanDuel is offering +150 odds, which would profit $15 on a $10 bet. 

🔥 Tage Thompson (+165) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I also backed Thompson to score in my Senators vs. Sabres player props, such is the forward's recent dominance against Ottawa. Thompson has five goals in the previous six contests against the Senators and opened his season account in the last game at home against the Colorado Avalanche.

He scored 44 goals last season, 29 of which were at KeyBank Center in Buffalo. That's enough for me to double down on the goal-scoring extraordinaire. Lock it in at BetMGM, and you'll earn $16.50 on a winning $10 bet. Caesars and DraftKings are at the low end of the market, offering +125 odds.
