The Los Angeles Rams' recent trade has seen them brush past the defending champion Seattle Seahawks as the Super Bowl odds favorites.

The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens, receiving the third and fourth-shortest Super Bowl odds, respectively, also made seismic moves to improve their championship chances. With free agency set to start on Wednesday, March 11, at 4 p.m. ET, let's look at the Super Bowl odds and analyze what's happening with the favorites.

👊 Super Bowl favorites & biggest off-season moves

Free agency will start on Wednesday, March 11, at 4 p.m. ET, and the legal tampering period begins today (Monday) at noon ET, so we'll soon see a shift, albeit minimal for the most part, in some teams' Super Bowl odds.

Some of the Super Bowl odds favorites have been busy improving their teams, hoping to knock the defending champion Seahawks off their perch.

💡 Free agency schedule and important dates

If you want to dive much deeper than when free agency starts, our Sean Tomlinson has you covered with the most important info, including the full schedule and other important dates.

🐏 Rams (+850)

The Rams and Seahawks had the same odds to win Super Bowl 2027 after Seattle won its first championship in 12 years. However, the Rams leapfrogged them and are the most likely team to win the first Valentine's Day Super Bowl.

That's thanks to Sean McVay and Co. securing cornerback McDuffie's services from Kansas City. Seen as one of the best at his position, McDuffie and the Rams have reportedly agreed to a contract extension that will make him the highest-paid cornerback.

The deal will be for 4 years at $124 million, with $100 million guaranteed.

Will the 25-year-old be the component the Rams require to win their first championship since 2022? It's a distinct statement of intent. That much is for sure, and it helps knowing Super Bowl 2027 will be in their own backyard at SoFi Stadium.

🟢 Seahawks (+900)

The Seahawks are the only team of the four Super Bowl favorites that hasn't made a significant trade. They are the hunted, and don't, at least at this early juncture of the off-season, feel any hunting is required.

However, Seattle has nine unrestricted free agents, including Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, whom the team didn't use a franchise tag on.

Here are the others Seattle will have to decide on:

  • WR Dareke Young
  • LB Chazz Surratt
  • OT Josh Jones
  • CB Riq Woolen
  • DE Boye Mafe
  • WR Rashid Shaheed
  • DB Coby Bryant
  • CB Josh Jobe

Popular opinion has the Seahawks splashing out on Bryant and Jobe to ensure they stay in Seattle. Everyone else, however, is likely seen as expendable, most notably Shaheed, even Walker.

🦬 Bills (+1100)

At least Buffalo is not sitting idly by while its franchise quarterback and MVP odds favorite is still at the peak of his power. Look up 'urgency,' and I'd be flabbergasted if you didn't see a picture of the Bills' owners.

The Bills went out and got a marquee receiver for Josh Allen, landing 28-year-old (29 on April 14) DJ Moore from Chicago.

Sure, Moore had the worst statistical season of his eight-year career in 2025-26, but there's still a lot to like about him. He's fast and athletic and will offer the Bills a multi-level threat.

That's already markedly more than what Allen had at his disposal last season. It's not like the Bills need much more, at least offensively, to push them over the top. Moore will more than suffice.

🐦‍⬛ Ravens (+1200)

The Ravens' Super Bowl odds after the Maxx Crosby trade shortened from +1300 to +1100. They've since recalibrated a tad, moving to +1200.

The Ravens will have a sour taste in their mouth after the not-so-funny comedy of errors and litany of injuries they had to deal with last season.

With a blank slate and a fresh lease on life, not to mention one of the best defenders terrorizing opposing QBs, the Ravens will be a formidable foe. And you can't tell me there's a team more motivated and eager to make right the wrongs from last year, thereby changing the narrative.

New head coach Jesse Minter is a lucky, lucky man, as it won't take too much "coaching" to make him look good.

🗓️ When & where is Super Bowl 2027?

Super Bowl 2027 will be the first Super Bowl to take place on Valentine's Day. For anyone without a significant other, that's Sunday, Feb. 14.

The Super Bowl will take place at SoFi Stadium, the home of the Rams. The last time the Super Bowl occurred at SoFi Stadium was in 2023, when the hometown Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals.
