Super Bowl Odds 2025: Which Teams Should You Bet Entering Week 1?

After the Packers' blockbuster trade for Micah Parsons, there are six teams clearly in the top tier entering the regular season.

We've finally arrived at Week 1 of the NFL season, and there is a clear top tier by the latest Super Bowl odds ahead of Thursday's kickoff.

The Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and Philadelphia Eagles - who have dominated the NFL futures market since February - are the top three teams by the title odds entering Week 1, just ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs. Those two join the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers as the only teams with shorter than 20/1 odds across all of the best NFL betting sites.

Of course, those six teams aren't the only ones worth betting on as you make your NFL picks before the regular season. Here's a look at the Super Bowl odds favorites, best bets, and long shots ahead of Week 1.

πŸ¦β€β¬› Baltimore Ravens (+700)

We've been writing about the Ravens all offseason as not only the favorite to hoist the Lombardi Trophy but our best bet in this market, too.

It's easy to have confidence in this team with Lamar Jackson returning after the best season of his already decorated career, having thrown for a career-high 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns with just four interceptions and a league-best 77.3 QBR. There's a reason he leads the NFL MVP odds this year.

If this defense - which profiled as the NFL's best unit over the second half of coordinator Zach Orr's first season at the helm - can carry that momentum into 2025, we could be looking at the second Super Bowl for this team in the John Harbaugh era.

A tough early schedule could spell value for those who wait, but I don't mind these +700 odds at BetMGM, which would turn a $70 profit on a $10 bet.

🦬 Buffalo Bills (+750)

Super Bowl Odds 2025: Who are the Betting Favorites Entering Week 1?

For as brilliant as Jackson was last season, Allen won MVP honors by carrying an even larger load for an offense that actually ranked higher in points per game (30.9) than the Ravens' record-setting attack.

The Bills signed receiver Joshua Palmer in the offseason and added Joey Bosa to a defense that could use some pass-rushing juice this upcoming season. The AFC East remains the friendliest division for any legitimate Super Bowl contender, and Allen is as dangerous as ever entering Year 8.

Buffalo has already proven it can reach the doorstep of the Super Bowl. Can it get past Kansas City in the postseason - or will it even need to? It's hard to ever count out this team, though the market has caught on with the Bills' odds as short as +600 in the days before Week 1.

That makes these +750 odds at FanDuel look like a steal by comparison, with a winning $10 bet at that price returning a $75 profit if Buffalo wins it all.

πŸ¦… Philadelphia Eagles (+750)

Super Bowl Odds 2025: Who are the Betting Favorites Entering Week 1?
Pictured: Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (26) before a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Photo by Bill Streicher / Imagn Images.

What happened to all the buzz around the Eagles following a dominant run to a Super Bowl title? Philadelphia retained the core from that team that steamrolled Kansas City in the Big Game, and it added versatile defender Jihaad Campbell in the first round in April's draft.

General manager Howie Roseman has stayed active through the preseason, too, trading for swing tackle Fred Johnson and depth receiver John Metchie in recent weeks. This looks like a team without any major weakness on paper, which was what made last year's team so dangerous once it got rolling.

There's always the chance an injury to Jalen Hurts or Saquon Barkley derails this running game. But without that? It's hard to see how the Eagles won't bully their way to another deep run in the NFC - especially with a defense that looked like the NFL's best last year returning so many key pieces.

Nearly all of the Super Bowl betting sites have Philadelphia's title odds at +700, but you can catch better value at FanDuel with these +750 odds, which would pay out a $75 profit on a $10 bet if the Eagles repeat this season.

πŸ’° Best value bet to win the Super Bowl entering Week 1

πŸ§€ Green Bay Packers (+1400)

Super Bowl Odds 2025: Who are the Betting Favorites Entering Week 1?
Pictured: Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (10) hands off the ball to running back Chris Brooks (30).

Even before their shocking trade for Parsons last week, the Packers already felt like one of the most dangerous teams in the league with Jordan Love leading the way for a young and dynamic offense.

Then Green Bay swung for the fences and acquired Parsons - arguably the best defender in the entire league - to bolster a defense that ranked sixth in yards per play allowed and seventh in DVOA last season in defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley's debut.

The Packers own nearly identical odds to the rival Lions across the best sports betting sites, but it's hard for me not to back this team to win the NFC North (and beyond) with a potential top-five unit on both sides of the ball. It's even easier to make that case with Caesars offering +1400 odds, turning a $10 ticket into a $140 profit if Green Bay hoists the Lombardi Trophy once again.

  • Washington Commanders (+2000): How could you not be intrigued by these odds after the Commanders made a run to the NFC title game last year? They added Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil in the offseason and paid up to retain Terry McLaurin, too. The sky is the limit in D.C.
  • San Francisco 49ers (+2000): It's easy to write off the 49ers after a 6-11 season that somehow felt worse than that record would suggest, though injuries played a big role in their downfall. This group is still full of All-Pro talent around QB Brock Purdy, though the title window feels as tight as ever.
  • Los Angeles Rams (+2200): One of my favorite value bets of the offseason, the Rams enter Week 1 with some straight-up bad vibes given all the uncertainty around Matthew Stafford's health. If he can fight through a back injury and rediscover his old form, there's enough young talent on both sides of the ball for Sean McVay to play with in a winnable NFC North.
  • Cincinnati Bengals (+2500): Every year, the Bengals start slow before catching fire late and putting a genuine scare into the rest of the AFC. Can they finally finish the job in January and February? While Joe Burrow and Co. should be a well-oiled machine, Al Golden's new-look defense will ultimately dictate Cincinnati's title hopes in 2025.
  • Minnesota Vikings (+2800): After winning 14 games last year, the Vikings let Sam Darnold walk in free agency to officially hand the reins to rising sophomore quarterback J.J. McCarthy. If he lives up to the hype for Kevin O'Connell's offense, there is real upside here. If he doesn't? This bet could be effectively dead by midseason.
  • Denver Broncos (+3000): Your favorite analyst's favorite long shot enters 2025 with a defense that might be the best in the league and an offense that was quietly one of the NFL's most efficient units down the stretch last season. Is Bo Nix ready to lead a legitimate title run in his second year? I personally bet this team to win it all, as this value is too good to ignore.
