Super Bowl Odds: Bills, Ravens Remain Favorites After Week 2 Blowouts

The Bills and Ravens both cruised to easy Week 2 wins to remain atop the latest Super Bowl odds.

Following a week that saw most favorites take care of business, the latest Super Bowl odds feature a predictable group at the top after NFL Week 2.

The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens lead the way by the latest NFL odds one week after their thrilling Week 1 showdown - they each took care of divisional rivals in blowouts to separate themselves from the rest of the pack.

Those two sit just ahead of the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles, who beat fellow title contenders to join the top two favorites as the only teams with odds shorter than +1000 entering Week 3.

📈 Super Bowl odds movement after Week 2

Check out all of our early NFL picks for Week 3.

  • The Bills (+550) were dealing as high as +700 last week but have settled in as the consensus favorite over the Ravens (+600) after both teams took care of business with Week 2 blowouts.
  • The Packers (+700) beat the Washington Commanders (+2500) on Thursday Night Football to take over as the NFC favorite. But the Eagles (+750) made a statement of their own on Sunday, beating the Kansas City Chiefs (+1300) in a Super Bowl rematch to move to 2-0.
  • Don't sleep on the Detroit Lions (+1600), who blew the doors off the Chicago Bears (+15000) in a 31-point win - the most lopsided game of Week 2 - in Ben Johnson's first game as head coach against his former team.
  • The Cincinnati Bengals (+5500) saw their odds plummet on Sunday after news that Joe Burrow could be out for three months with a toe injury.
  • Are the Indianapolis Colts (+7500) for real? They've seen their odds shrink after a 2-0 start behind a career resurgence from Daniel Jones under center.

🦬 Bills, Ravens dominate in Week 2

📈 Buffalo holds top spot after blowout win

After the Bills and Ravens battled last week in one of the best games in recent memory, both teams reminded us Sunday why they'll likely meet again sometime in January.

The Ravens boasted the second-biggest win of the day - behind only the Lions' 31-point slaughter of the Bears - as Lamar Jackson tossed four TDs in a 41-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns to bolster his NFL MVP odds.

Yet the Bills remain the top dogs after their 30-10 win over the New York Jets, who lost Justin Fields (concussion) early in the fourth quarter. It wasn't the flashiest day from Josh Allen (207 combined yards, 0 TDs), but Buffalo didn't need it with a strong showing from James Cook (132 rushing yards, TD) and the defense.

🔵 Bills Super Bowl odds (+600)

Buffalo wasn't a consensus favorite even after beating Baltimore last week, but the Bills have seized that spot across the best NFL betting sites.

It's not necessarily the result of Sunday's win - which was both expected and somewhat unremarkable - but the road ahead for Buffalo, which should feast on non-playoff teams before a Week 9 tilt against Kansas City, which is already staring down an 0-2 start.

With a 1-game lead in the division and a de facto 2-game lead over the Ravens (with the tiebreaker) for home-field advantage in the AFC, the Bills have the inside track for the No. 1 overall seed. That could help pay off a bet at these +600 odds via FanDuel, which would return a $60 profit on a $10 bet with a 14.29% implied probability.

🦅 Eagles beat Chiefs in Super Bowl rematch

😤 Philly runs all over KC defense in Week 2 win

Whether you love it or hate it, we should all be plenty familiar with the Eagles' championship formula: run, run, run, and run away with it in the fourth.

That's essentially what we saw Sunday, even if Patrick Mahomes (187 yards, TD, INT) added a late bomb to cut the score to its 20-17 final. The Eagles ran for 122 of their 216 total yards, avoided turning it over, and got just enough from Jalen Hurts (116 combined yards, rush TD) to hold on.

It hasn't been the prettiest effort through two weeks, but the Eagles still haven't turned it over and rank in the top half in scoring offense and defense. Do we really need to see much more from the defending champions?

🟢 Eagles Super Bowl odds (+750)

Here's the best argument for betting on the Eagles to win it all: they did it last year with a remarkably similar core, and they've won their first two games with the same formula that gave the NFL so much trouble a year ago.

Philly faces a tough stretch with four of its next six games against playoff teams from a year ago (plus two games against the division rival New York Giants). But if the Eagles emerge unscathed, I can't imagine they'll still be catching these +750 odds at DraftKings, which would turn a $10 bet into a $75 profit.

🐅 Burrow injury tanks Bengals' Super Bowl odds

🤕 Bengals' season in peril despite 2-0 start

For the first time in the Zac Taylor era, the Bengals are 2-0. But their Super Bowl hopes are on life support after Burrow went down with a toe injury that could sideline him three months.

That put a major damper on Sunday's 31-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, which saw backup QB Jake Browning (241 yards, 2 TDs, 3 INTs) lead a late comeback for Cincinnati in the final minute.

We've seen Browning lead the way for the Bengals for an extended period, but we'll need to see even better play than he showed Sunday to navigate a tough upcoming slate and keep Cincy's dwindling NFL playoff odds alive.

🟠 Bengals Super Bowl odds (+6000)

Whenever there's uncertainty in the betting market, there is opportunity, which leads me to circle the Bengals' Super Bowl odds even after Burrow's injury.

The worst-case scenario, of course, is that this team falls out of the playoff race before Burrow returns - if he does at all. But what if Cincy holds on long enough to drop one of the preseason MVP favorites back into the captain's seat for a team that started 2-0?

The Bengals' best title odds of +6000 via FanDuel imply a mere 1.64% chance that they ultimately win the Super Bowl, according to our odds converter. If they do, and you place a $10 bet on it now, you'd enjoy a $600 profit come February. Consider me intrigued.
