The Seattle Seahawks are the Super Bowl odds favorites after locking up the NFC's No. 1 seed thanks to a statement victory on the road over the San Francisco 49ers.

NFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, are back up to second thanks to a perceived favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers in the wild-card round. The Denver Broncos, receiving the third-shortest odds, are the AFC's No. 1 seed after they took care of business against a second-string version of the Los Angeles Chargers.

🟢 Seahawks show why they're Super Bowl favorite

The Seahawks put the rest of the NFL on notice again, this time thanks to a defensive gem on the road at Levi's Stadium, the location of Super Bowl 60.

Despite the Seahawks' inability to put the Week 18 game to bed, the result was never in doubt. Head coach Mike Macdonald will be slightly concerned about his offense's failure to be more ruthless, but not enough to lose sleep over, especially considering it was against an excellent 49ers team.

Seattle enters the playoffs with the second-best offensive DVOA and the best defensive DVOA. While their offense is almost as proficient as it gets, make no mistake. It's the team's game-wrecking defense that sets them apart.

🐏 Rams enjoy solid bounce-back performance

Matthew Stafford didn't let his poor Week 17 showing impact the season finale. With four TD passes and a 37-20 win, the 37-year-old not only steered the Rams to the fifth seed but also overtook Drake Maye as the MVP odds favorite to close the campaign.

Los Angeles will host the mediocre Carolina Panthers as the 10.5-point betting favorite. There won't be much chat about a possible upset in this one despite the Rams falling to the Panthers 31-28 on the road in Week 13.

Stafford's offense is the top-ranked unit, according to points per game (30.5) and DVOA. They aren't too shabby defensively, either, ranked third. The Rams were 7-1 straight up and 6-2 ATS at home during the regular season, while the Panthers were 3-6 SU and 5-4 ATS on the road.

🐎 Broncos jump to third after securing bye

The Broncos didn't have to work excessively hard to ensure they won't have to play in next week's wild-card round. They took advantage of a favorable matchup against a Chargers team that rested many influential starters, including Justin Herbert.

Take nothing away from the Broncos' accomplishment, though, as they finished 8-1 at home. Their only loss at Empower Field at Mile High came in Week 16 against the surprising Jacksonville Jaguars.

Denver was 11-2 in one-score games, which should bode well entering the playoffs, where tight games are commonplace. Two victories stand between the Broncos and a place at Super Bowl 60, so you can see why they're receiving the third-shortest odds to win the Lombardi Trophy.

🪢 Bills, Eagles, Patriots deadlocked entering playoffs

The AFC East champion New England Patriots, defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, and Buffalo Bills jostle for position among the favorites.

All three teams have best odds of +1000, which implies a 9.09% win probability. The No. 2 Patriots will face the No. 7 Chargers next week, while the No. 6 Bills travel to Jacksonville to play the No. 3 Jaguars.

The No. 3 Eagles, meanwhile, will host the No. 6 San Francisco 49ers. New England finished the season winning 12 of 13 games. The Bills and Eagles endured an inconsistent second half of the season, but both teams are equipped with oodles of playoff experience and elite playmakers.
