Last week, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw for a modest 203 yards, but he also passed for three touchdowns and recorded zero interceptions. It was only Allen’s fourth performance without an interception this season.

Earlier this season when Buffalo played against the Kansas City Chiefs, Allen threw for 233 yards and one touchdown, adding an interception. He also ran for a touchdown and 32 yards.

Josh Allen Over 43.5 rushing yards (-110 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Allen has rushed for at least 44 yards in three consecutive games. Last week, he ran for 74 yards and one touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers. When he faced the Chiefs earlier this season, he managed just 32 yards on 10 carries, but the fact that he carried the ball so many times gives us hope on Sunday night.

Since the Bills fired Ken Dorsey, Allen has carried the ball at least eight times in all but two games. In the first 10 weeks, Allen carried the ball eight times just once, and he never finished a game with double-digit carries.

Allen’s rushing attack is now a major part of the Bills’ offense, and that’s not going to stop this week. He’s averaging over five yards per carry, so if he carries the ball at least eight times, it’s very likely he hits this Over.

Allen threw three touchdown passes on Wild Card Weekend. It was his first three-touchdown performance since Nov. 19 against the New York Jets. Over the last six weeks, Allen has thrown fewer than two touchdown passes four times.

Though the price for the Over is very tempting, Allen steals a lot of his touchdown passes by scoring with his legs. He has 15 rushing touchdowns this season, failing to find the end zone in only five games.

The Chiefs have allowed the third-fewest passing touchdowns this season. In a game when points may be hard to come by, Allen will throw for just one touchdown, but he may find the end zone multiple times himself.

Josh Allen Over 0.5 interceptions (-115 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Allen finished last week’s game with a QBR of 91.6. He also broke a streak of three consecutive games in which he threw an interception. However, his success last week was more because of the Steelers’ defense than anything else.

No matter how good Allen plays, he consistently throws interceptions. The only times he didn’t throw interceptions during the regular season were in games the Bills won by at least 21 points. They may win on Sunday, but the odds of them blowing out the Chiefs aren’t high.
