The Buffalo Bills (2-0) host the Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) in the first game of a Monday Night Football doubleheader to conclude Week 3.

The latest Monday Night Football odds have the Bills favored by 5.5 points against the Jaguars. If the Bills dominate this game as the spread suggests, how will that impact the best Jaguars vs. Bills MNF prop bets?

Trevor Lawrence is likely to be throwing for the majority of this game. Will he finally connect with Christian Kirk after the duo only hooked up twice in their first two games? And what would playing with a lead mean for Bills’ running back James Cook?

To complement our Jaguars vs. Bills prediction, here are our best player prop bets for Monday Night Football:

Trevor Lawrence Under 226.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐

FanDuel is offering this total six yards higher than three of the other four best sportsbooks. With such a discrepancy you’d expect the price for the Under to be unfavorable, but it’s actually right in line with all competitors.

Lawrence has thrown for 382 yards in his first two games combined. The Bills are allowing 179 passing yards per game to start the season, and though they benefitted from a Tua Tagovailoa injury last week, the secondary looks strong to start the year.

The Jaguars are likely to play this game from behind, so perhaps that favors Lawrence. After all, he did top 226 yards in four of his five games during the Jaguars’ losing streak to end last season.

But the Bills’ defense is legit and the Jaguars look lost, so I'm taking advantage of the FanDuel mistake.

Mike Spector also thinks the Jaguars' passer will struggle as part of his Trevor Lawrence MNF player prop bets, as does Brenden Schaeffer in his Jaguars vs. Bills MNF parlay.

James Cook Under 62.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Cook was electric last week, averaging 7.1 yards per rush and scoring three total touchdowns. Yet it’s hard to ignore that he only got 12 touches in a game where he was really productive. If he gets similar production this week, he won’t have nearly as much success.

The Jaguars’ run defense is off to a solid start, allowing just 103.0 yards per game. They held all the Miami Dolphins’ weapons in check in Week 1, and they held Jerome Ford to just 64 yards last week.

The Bills are going to be in obvious running situations a lot in this game, which is bad for Cook. And it is a bit strange that our best sports betting sites are setting this line so low when Cook has topped 70 yards twice this season. There is something fishy about this.

Cook might struggle yardage wise, but Rodrigo Villagomez thinks he's well-positioned to score in his first touchdown scorer predictions for Monday Night Football.

Christian Kirk Over 3.5 receptions (-130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kirk has just two catches for 29 yards this season, which is made crazier by the fact that his longest catch of the season is 30 yards. I have hope for him Monday because he’s been targeted seven times, which is only three fewer than team leader Gabe Davis (10).

The Bills have done a good job keeping No. 1 wide receivers in check this season, but Kirk isn’t a No. 1 receiver no matter what the depth chart says. Brian Thomas Jr. should draw the majority of coverage, while Kirk will find himself open and finally break out of his slump.

With the price being offered, it feels like oddsmakers are trying to bait bettors into taking the Under. Kirk has been ineffective, and yet Under 3.5 is sitting with a price of +110 at some of our best sports betting apps. Don’t take the bait.
