The Hater's Guide to Super Bowl Betting: How to Profit Off Seahawks, Patriots Spite

Left in the dust of a Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots Super Bowl showdown are plenty of salty rival fans who believed this was their team's year. The Buffalo Bills avoided Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow, but they couldn't get past Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos; they then watched the rival Patriots beat a Jarrett Stidham-led Broncos team in the AFC Championship.
Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford had an MVP-caliber regular season, but his Los Angeles Rams suffered the same fate that fellow NFC West hopefuls, the San Francisco 49ers, did when they squared off against the Seahawks in the playoffs. Now, we're offering those fans of rival teams an official Hater's Guide to betting on the Super Bowl.
Fans of the Raiders, Jets, Cardinals, Titans, Giants, and more can bet against both sides while continuing to study the NFL draft odds.

Patriots moneyline (+190)
Now, this may not appeal to every fan of a Seahawks rival, as it's hard to know what runs deeper: the NFC West hatred, or the general disdain for the Patriots. If you fall under the former category, this bet is for you.
You can spend all of Sunday rooting against your division rival, and if they lose, you nearly double your money at these +190 odds via DraftKings.
As Gary Pearson noted in his Super Bowl underdog betting history, the betting underdog has won four of the last five Super Bowls. If that's not good enough for you, how about the fact that the betting underdog is 9-1 in the last 10 Big Games when the halftime show performer is male.
Remember, Rams and 49ers fans, this is the team that ended your season. Let's make some money at the Seahawks' expense.

Meanwhile, if you're a New York Yankees, Los Angeles Lakers, and Kansas City Chiefs fan for the last five years (or maybe you're a genuine New England fan, fine), then be sure to check out how Patriots fans are betting on the Super Bowl.
Drake Maye 2+ interceptions (+325)
The Bills season ended with Josh Allen finishing with more turnovers than a bakery, so it makes sense that Buffalo fans would want to see Maye suffer in a similar way.
We picked Maye to throw one interception in our guide on how to bet on the Seahawks' historic defense, but I'm taking it a step further and targeting these +325 odds at DraftKings for the real Patriots haters.
The fun part about this is that, unlike the Seahawks, Patriots haters aren't limited to division rivals. I'd guess that most football fans in general hate this team, so this is widely accessible. Maye avoided throwing a pick in the AFC Championship against the Broncos, but that's mostly because the majority of his passes weren't remotely close to any human on either team.
It's unlikely he gets quite as lucky this time around, and you'll get a tasty profit of $32.50 on a successful $10 bet.
🤔 Other in-game bets to make as a certified hater
Under 45.5 (-110)
This one is pretty simple. You're basically just cheering for a bad football game so people will slander one or even both teams. It's the ultimate win for an ultimate hater.
Seahawks -4.5 (-115)
You may be a bit confused by this one, but if the Seahawks do cover 4.5 points, it's therefore possible they win by double digits. Last year's Super Bowl finished 40-22. It stunk. You know who won? The haters.
No touchdown scorer (+10000)
This is Silky Johnson's level of hate. Imagine a Super Bowl in which neither team can muster a touchdown. They would be the laughing stock of the NFL. And you'd also make $100 in profit on a $1 bet.
