The Cincinnati Bengals are no stranger to recovering after a poor start, and they can get back to .500 if they upset the Baltimore Ravens for tonight's Thursday Night Football tilt (8:15 p.m. ET from M&T Bank Stadium).

The Bengals are 5-4 against the spread (ATS), while the Ravens, one of the Super Bowl odds front-runners, are 5-3-1 ATS.

While Cincinnati has yet to beat a team with a record better than .500, Joe Burrow has only lost one of the last six games to the Ravens by more than six points.

We looked in-depth at what to expect from the Bengals' gunslinger in our Burrow TNF player prop bets and covered his counterpart in our Lamar Jackson TNF player prop bets.

The line hasn't changed in the 24 hours leading up to the contest, with the Ravens entering as 5.5 or 6-point favorites, according to the most recent Thursday Night Football odds

Our Bengals vs. Ravens prediction expects the Bengals to keep things close. It's part of our TNF coverage, which includes the Bengals vs. Ravens TNF prop bets and Bengals vs. Ravens TNF parlay.

Bengals vs. Ravens against the spread prediction: Thursday Night Football

Bengals to cover the spread: +6.5 (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -120 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 54.55%

Despite throwing five touchdown passes for the second time this season, Burrow wasn't satisfied with his team's performance against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9.

He'll march into M&T Bank Stadium with a point to prove, as the Bengals are still searching for their first victory this season against a top-tier team.

Burrow is 35-18-1 against the spread when he's a favorite of six or fewer points or an underdog. And he was a quarter away from defeating the Ravens the last time these AFC North foes met before the game unraveled. Cincinnati coughed up a 10-point lead at home late, allowing the Ravens a glimmer of hope they pounced on to win.

Burrow can make it right on Thursday. The Bengals' passer hasn't enjoyed a fruitful history against Baltimore, losing five of his eight previous encounters.

Cincinnati is also far superior when the days become shorter, which is reflected in the Bengals' 7-3 record in their last 10 November games.

You'd think it's only a matter of time before the Bengals notch a significant win, and there's only one or two greater foes than Baltimore. While winning outright might be a hurdle too high, the Bengals should be able to keep this game within a touchdown.

Ravens come with some vulnerabilities

Baltimore's poor pass defense has been spoken about plenty, and for good reason. The Ravens allow 281 passing yards per game, which is 16-plus yards more than any team. Additionally, Baltimore gives up 7.9 yards per attempt, the fifth most.

Tee Higgins, who suffered a quadriceps injury in Week 7, will probably miss his third straight contest. He hasn't practiced since the injury. While that's a major blow, the Bengals scored at least 25 points in two of the four contests without his services.

The point spread ranges from 5.5 to 6.5 points at our best NFL betting sites. Despite the slightly more expensive price, I'm taking the higher buffer at -6.5. A winning $10 bet will yield an $8.33 profit.

Elsewhere, Mike Spector thinks we're in for a low-scoring affair in his Bengals vs. Ravens early picks.

Bengals vs. Ravens player prop

Our NEW NFL player prop odds tool can help you find the best odds on any market across legal sportsbooks in your area!

Joe Burrow Over 265.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Bengals' second-ranked passing attack, per PFF, faces the league's worst pass defense. Burrow exploded for 392 passing yards the last time he faced Baltimore, and he's hit the Over on this prop in two of the previous five contests.

Meanwhile, the Ravens have allowed at least 281 passing yards five times, including against the Cleveland Browns' 23rd-ranked passing offense in Week 8.

bet365 not only offers the lowest total, but it also provides the best price. A winning $10 bet will lead to a $9.09 profit as part of your NFL Week 10 predictions.

Phil Wood is also backing Burrow in his Bengals vs. Ravens TNF prop bets, and Rod Villagomez thinks his top receiver could open the scoring in his first touchdown scorer prediction for Thursday Night Football.
