Cincinnati (10-4) took a one-game lead in the AFC North with its win and Baltimore’s subsequent loss last week. The Bengals are in the midst of their longest winning streak (six) since 2015.

New England has lost three of its last four games, and its latest loss to Las Vegas was especially excruciating. The Patriots allowed 13 points in the final 32 seconds of the fourth quarter and lost on the second walkoff defensive touchdown in regulation in NFL history.

The Bengals opened as 3-point road favorites and, after a temporary move to 4, the number has returned to 3. Cincinnati has attracted 64% of the bets and 72% of the handle.

The total has settled in at 41.5 across the board. The Under is seeing 76% of the cash and the Over is getting 60% of the tickets.

And it does not help that New England ranks 20th in yards per pass attempt out of a shotgun formation (6.6).

Cincinnati has some question marks defensively, as Trey Hendrickson (wrist), Sam Hubbard (calf), and Mike Hilton (knee) all either did not play last week or have not practiced this week. However, a not full-strength defense still forced Tampa Bay into four turnovers (the Buccaneers’ most this season) and pressured Tom Brady on 19.5% of dropbacks. The Bengals allowed six points and 135 yards in the second half last week, and we expect that momentum to carry over into this week.
