We're breaking down the latest NBA win totals for the 2025-26 season with our best Over/Under predictions for all 30 teams.

The defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder open with the league's highest projected win total at 62.5, while the Utah Jazz sit at the bottom with 18.5. Can LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers clear 46.5 wins? Will Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks surpass 53.5 wins? We break down our NBA win total picks and best value bets for every team below.

Our NBA player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market (including NBA win totals) across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⬆️ Atlanta Hawks win total prediction: Over 46.5 wins

See our Atlanta Hawks predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Hawks acquired Kristaps Porzingis in the offseason and will roll out a starting five that should be one of the best defensive units in the league, especially with Dyson Daniels in the mix. Their bench will also be strong defensively with the additions of Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard. With Zaccharie Risacher expected to take a step forward in his second season and Jalen Johnson returning healthy, it’s hard to imagine Trae Young and Co. winning fewer than 47 games in a weak Eastern Conference.

✅ Prediction: Over 46.5 wins (-115 via FanDuel)

⬆️ Boston Celtics win total prediction: Over 41.5 wins

See our Boston Celtics predictions with live odds and best bets.

Jayson Tatum has a torn Achilles, Jrue Holiday was traded to the Trail Blazers, and Porzingis was shipped off to Atlanta - but the line reflects that. The Celtics still have Jaylen Brown, Payton Pritchard, and Derrick White, along with new addition Anfernee Simons. They should be able to win at least 42 games in the East.

✅ Prediction: Over 41.5 wins (-104 via FanDuel)

⬇️ Brooklyn Nets win total prediction: Under 20.5 wins

See our Brooklyn Nets predictions with live odds and best bets.

Michael Porter Jr. is in; Cam Johnson is out. Cam Thomas led the Nets in scoring last season with 24 points per game, while the next-highest returning scorer, Nic Claxton, averaged 10.3 PPG. This number is a bit lower than I'd like, but it’s still hard to imagine this roster winning 21 games.

✅ Prediction: Under 20.5 wins (-110 via DraftKings)

⬆️ Charlotte Hornets win total prediction: Over 26.5 wins

See our Charlotte Hornets predictions with live odds and best bets.

Are the Hornets really that bad, or are they just always injured? Charlotte will open the season with LaMelo Ball, Miles Bridges, and Brandon Miller all healthy, while Tre Mann is considered day-to-day. The Hornets have three 20-plus point scorers in their starting lineup and an impressive backcourt of Collin Sexton and Mann coming off the bench - give me the Over.

✅ Prediction: Over 26.5 wins (-110 via bet365)

⬆️ Chicago Bulls win total prediction: Over 32.5 wins

See our Chicago Bulls predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Bulls are not that bad - how's that for the team slogan in 2025-26? Josh Giddey has revived his career, Coby White is coming off a career-high 20.4 points per game last season, and Ayo Dosunmu might be the most underrated sixth man in the league. The Bulls will be a tough out at the United Center and should win 33-plus games.

✅ Prediction: Over 32.5 wins (-115 via bet365)

⬆️ Cleveland Cavaliers win total prediction: Over 56.5 wins

See our Cleveland Cavaliers predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Cavaliers won 64 games last season and posted the league’s highest offensive rating (121.7). Yes, they were banged up and fell to the Pacers in the conference semifinals, but Darius Garland is back to participating in full-contact scrimmages, and they’re returning the same starting lineup as last season. Adding a 6-foot-5 point guard in Lonzo Ball should also bolster Cleveland’s defense en route to another 57-plus win campaign.

✅ Prediction: Over 56.5 wins (-110 via bet365)

⬇️ Dallas Mavericks win total prediction: Under 41.5 wins

See our Dallas Mavericks predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Mavericks’ record this season will largely depend on whether Cooper Flagg can immediately emerge as a star in this league. Kyrie Irving has no timetable for returning from a knee injury; Anthony Davis has played 51 games or fewer in three of the past five seasons; and Klay Thompson has been trending downward over the last two years. I’m betting Flagg won’t be productive enough as a rookie to help Dallas win more than half its games.

✅ Prediction: Under 41.5 wins (-115 via BetMGM)

⬇️ Denver Nuggets win total prediction: Under 54.5 wins

See our Denver Nuggets predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Nuggets went 50-32 last season before losing to the Thunder in seven games in the conference semifinals. They replaced Michael Porter Jr. with Cam Johnson and added Jonas Valanciunas, while Russell Westbrook signed with the Sacramento Kings in free agency - is that really worth another five wins for Denver?

✅ Prediction: Under 54.5 wins (-105 via DraftKings)

⬆️ Detroit Pistons win total prediction: Over 45.5 wins

See our Detroit Pistons predictions with live odds and best bets.

Cade Cunningham has the seventh-shortest NBA MVP odds and is coming off a breakout fourth season, averaging career highs in points (26.1), assists (9.1), and field-goal percentage (46.9%). While it’s unlikely the Pistons will bring back Malik Beasley, they will have Caris LeVert and Duncan Robinson coming off the bench, backing up an improving starting lineup with four players under 25. I’m betting the Pistons will continue to improve after winning 44 games last season.

✅ Prediction: Over 45.5 wins (-104 via FanDuel)

⬆️ Golden State Warriors win total prediction: Over 46.5 wins

See our Golden State Warriors predictions with live odds and best bets.

Golden State won 23 of its final 31 regular-season games after Jimmy Butler made his Warriors debut against the Bulls on Feb. 8. The team knocked off the second-seeded Rockets in the first round of the playoffs and was leading the Timberwolves after Game 1 of the conference semifinals before Stephen Curry was forced to miss the rest of the series with a hamstring strain. This number is too low.

✅ Prediction: Over 46.5 wins (-110 via bet365)

⬇️ Houston Rockets win total prediction: Under 52.5 wins

See our Houston Rockets predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Rockets are tied with the Lakers for the fifth-shortest NBA championship odds after trading for Kevin Durant. Fred VanVleet suffered a torn ACL and will likely miss the entire season, so Reed Sheppard, the third overall pick in 2024, will start in his place. Sheppard averaged 4.4 points per game last season and played a total of 10 minutes in their seven-game series against the Warriors - this number has not been properly adjusted for VanVleet's absence.

✅ Prediction: Under 52.5 wins (-110 via BetMGM)

⬇️ Indiana Pacers win total prediction: Under 37.5 wins

See our Indiana Pacers predictions with live odds and best bets.

Tyrese Haliburton will miss the entire season recovering from Achilles surgery, and Myles Turner signed with the Bucks in the offseason. This line accounts for that, but I don’t like the odds of Pascal Siakam, Bennedict Mathurin, and the remaining Pacers competing for a play-in spot. This feels like a lost season, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns into a tank job at some point - similar to the Warriors in 2019-20.

✅ Prediction: Under 37.5 wins (-110 via DraftKings)

⬆️ Los Angeles Clippers win total prediction: Over 47.5 wins

See our Los Angeles Clippers predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Clippers quietly have one of the deepest teams in the league. All of their starters averaged over 16 points per game last season, led by James Harden’s 22.8 PPG, and their bench includes several high-end defenders such as Nicolas Batum, Kris Dunn, and Derrick Jones Jr. While injuries are always a concern with a Kawhi Leonard-led team, this line is far too pessimistic.

✅ Prediction: Over 47.5 wins (-125 via BetMGM)

⬆️ Los Angeles Lakers win total prediction: Over 46.5 wins

See our Los Angeles Lakers predictions with live odds and best bets.

L.A. won 19 of its final 32 regular-season games after Luka Doncic made his Lakers debut against the Jazz on Feb. 10. This number seems to be a reaction to LeBron James being out until mid-November, but a roster with Doncic, Austin Reaves, and Deandre Ayton should be able to win 57% of its games until James returns. Additionally, JJ Redick may take the regular season more seriously than other contending coaches after receiving widespread criticism for playing his starters for the entire second half of a playoff game.

✅ Prediction: Over 46.5 wins (-106 via FanDuel)

⬆️ Memphis Grizzlies win total prediction: Over 39.5 wins

See our Memphis Grizzlies predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Grizzlies are simply not as deep as they need to be to compete in the Western Conference. Having two young stars in Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. is always a plus, but the next leading scorers on this team are Santi Aldama and Ty Jerome, both of whom averaged 12.5 points per game last season. Forget the injury concerns - this team just doesn’t have enough depth to be competitive.

✅ Prediction: Over 39.5 wins (+104 via FanDuel)

⬇️ Miami Heat win total prediction: Under 37.5 wins

See our Miami Heat predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Heat will begin the season with Bam Adebayo, Norman Powell, and Andrew Wiggins as their three best healthy players, as Tyler Herro will be out for another 6-10 weeks with a foot/ankle injury. This team was swept by the Cavaliers in the first round, losing by an average margin of 30.5 points across four game. The Heat should struggle to compete for a play-in spot, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they instead became sellers at the trade deadline.

✅ Prediction: Under 37.5 wins (+100 via BetMGM)

⬇️ Milwaukee Bucks win total prediction: Under 43.5 wins

See our Milwaukee Bucks predictions with live odds and best bets.

There’s a lot of buzz that Giannis Antetokounmpo could request a trade this season, as the best support the Bucks can provide for him is Kyle Kuzma and Myles Turner - not exactly a championship-caliber Big Three. The Bucks lost in five games to the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs, Damian Lillard suffered a torn Achilles and was waived, and a once-promising Bucks franchise enters this season with the 14th-shortest championship odds. The real threat of Antetokounmpo leaving is enough to take the Under in this situation.

✅ Prediction: Under 43.5 wins (-105 via DraftKings)

⬇️ Minnesota Timberwolves win total prediction: Under 49.5 wins

See our Minnesota Timberwolves predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Timberwolves finished 49-33 last season after winning just eight of their first 19 games. However, they traded away Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who was a key wing defender for them, and may be slightly overrated by the market after beating a short-handed Warriors team in the conference semifinals. Even with two straight conference finals trips under their belt, they're 2-8 in those appearances - I'm selling high on Minnesota.

✅ Prediction: Under 49.5 wins (-110 via BetMGM)

⬇️ New Orleans Pelicans win total prediction: Under 30.5 wins

See our New Orleans Pelicans predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Pelicans have three starters who scored 20 or more points per game last season. However, the injury concerns surrounding Zion Williamson will always bring this number down, and the roster projects to be one of the worst defensive teams in the league, despite its offensive firepower when healthy. There are just too many red flags here to bet the Over.

✅ Prediction: Under 30.5 wins (+100 via BetMGM)

⬇️ New York Knicks win total prediction: Under 53.5 wins

See our New York Knicks predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Knicks are projected to be the second-best team in the East, and I agree with the market, but this is no longer a Tom Thibodeau team that wears down its starting five for extra regular-season wins. With the switch to Mike Brown, there’s a solid chance the Knicks will start resting players down the stretch to focus on a deep postseason run, especially since they’ll likely already be locked into a top-three spot in the East by then.

✅ Prediction: Under 53.5 wins (-110 via bet365)

⬇️ Oklahoma City Thunder win total prediction: Under 62.5 wins

See our Oklahoma City Thunder predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Thunder are the best team in the NBA, but this number is a bit high. While Oklahoma City won 68 games last season, it’s expected to take a step back after winning the championship. The last NBA team to win 63 or more games following an NBA Finals victory was the 73-win Warriors in 2015-16 - I don't see that ceiling just yet.

✅ Prediction: Under 62.5 wins (-110 via BetMGM)

⬇️ Orlando Magic win total prediction: Under 51.5 wins

See our Orlando Magic predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Magic have been heavily upgraded in the market after acquiring Desmond Bane from the Grizzlies in the offseason. This team finished 41-41 last season while ranking 27th in offensive rating and second in defensive rating. I don’t agree that swapping Bane for Cole Anthony and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is worth more than 10 wins.

✅ Prediction: Under 51.5 wins (-105 via BetMGM)

⬆️ Philadelphia 76ers win total prediction: Over 42.5 wins

See our Philadelphia 76ers predictions with live odds and best bets.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the 76ers won 50 games - or if they won just 30. They are among the most talented teams in the East with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Paul George, Jared McCain, and Kelly Oubre Jr., but injuries limited them to only 24 wins last season. Embiid, George, and McCain all seem to be trending in the right direction health-wise, so the Over seems like the slightly safer play here.

✅ Prediction: Over 42.5 wins (-106 via FanDuel)

⬇️ Phoenix Suns win total prediction: Under 31.5 wins

See our Phoenix Suns predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Suns traded Kevin Durant to the Rockets in the summer and waived Bradley Beal. They enter this season with their top three projected scorers as Devin Booker, Jalen Green, and Mark Williams. Phoenix won just 36 games last season, and replacing Durant and Beal with Green should drop their win total below 30.5.

✅ Prediction: Under 31.5 wins (-110 via bet365)

⬆️ Portland Trail Blazers win total prediction: Over 34.5 wins

See our Portland Trail Blazers predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Trail Blazers went 13-14 after the All-Star break last season and finished 46-35-1 (56.8%) against the spread overall. This team continues to be undervalued, especially since the market overreacted to Simons being traded to Boston in exchange for Holiday. Portland has a solid young core in Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara, and Shaedon Sharpe, along with veterans Jerami Grant and Holiday, and should compete for a play-in spot - especially once Scoot Henderson returns from a torn left hamstring.

✅ Prediction: Over 34.5 wins (-110 via BetMGM)

⬇️ Sacramento Kings win total prediction: Under 35.5 wins

See our Sacramento Kings predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Kings’ ceiling is low, as they’re running back their version of the 2023-24 Bulls with DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. They added Westbrook and signed Keegan Murray - who is expected to miss three to six months with a thumb injury - to a five-year extension. This team may start selling at the trade deadline if it gets off to a slow start in a tough Western Conference.

✅ Prediction: Under 35.5 wins (+100 via DraftKings)

⬆️ San Antonio Spurs win total prediction: Over 43.5 wins

See our San Antonio Spurs predictions with live odds and best bets.

Victor Wembanyama is entering his third NBA season, and I agree with the market that the Spurs will take a huge step forward as their star center continues to develop. Wembanyama is surrounded by a strong supporting cast - led by Stephon Castle, De'Aaron Fox, and Devin Vassell - and has the fourth-shortest odds to win MVP this season. San Antonio winning 44 games seems reasonable.

✅ Prediction: Over 43.5 wins (-115 via FanDuel)

⬆️ Toronto Raptors win total prediction: Over 38.5 wins

See our Toronto Raptors predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Raptors are similar to the Trail Blazers in that they’re constantly underrated. Toronto had the second-best ATS record last season at 48-33-1 (59.3%), and while that doesn’t guarantee wins this season, it does show how the market undervalues the Raptors. While Toronto doesn’t have a star player, it has four starters who averaged over 17 points per game last season and remained competitive despite dealing with several key injuries.

✅ Prediction: Over 38.5 wins (-115 via bet365)

⬇️ Utah Jazz win total prediction: Under 18.5 wins

See our Utah Jazz predictions with live odds and best bets.

The Jazz rightfully have the lowest win total in the league. Lauri Markkanen will be involved in trade rumors throughout the season, and if he gets shipped out, who is the next best player on their roster - Keyonte George? Walker Kessler? This team should struggle to approach 20 wins.

✅ Prediction: Under 18.5 wins (+110 via BetMGM)

⬆️ Washington Wizards win total prediction: Over 20.5 wins

See our Washington Wizards predictions with live odds and best bets.

While the Wizards’ win total is in the same ballpark as Utah’s, there’s a lot more to be optimistic about in the nation’s capital. Alex Sarr and Bub Carrington showed progress over the course of last season and should only continue to improve, and CJ McCollum will provide a veteran scoring presence when Washington’s young core struggles with consistency. This team won’t make the play-in tournament, but it should win more than 20 games.

✅ Prediction: Over 20.5 wins (-105 via bet365)
