The Los Angeles Lakers host the Golden State Warriors, as we pick the best Warriors vs. Lakers NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.

In two previous matchups this season, the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers have each brought home one victory. Tonight, the statuses of LeBron James, Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Anthony Davis are in question in a game that could have major ramifications on the NBA Play-In Tournament odds.

If the stars do play, expect big nights from most of them, as the games in this series have been high-scoring this season. If they don’t play, then who will step up in their absence and will a win help these teams NBA championship odds?

Steph Curry Over 5.5 made 3-pointers (+160 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

If Curry plays tonight, then he will make at least six 3-pointers. He’s made 15 in his two games against the Lakers this season, and the Lakers’ 3-point defense hasn’t improved. They’re 22nd in the league in opponent 3-point percentage, and they’re allowing the third-most points off 3-pointers in the league.

Curry is averaging 4.9 made 3-pointers per game this season, so it makes sense that his standard prop is set at 4.5. We love him to hit that number and would happily take the over for the -130 or -135 being offered at our best sports betting sites.

However, this alt-line is where the real value lies. Caesars has the price listed at +125, which implies a 44.44% chance he hits the Over, according to our odds calculator. FanDuel’s price implies a 38.46% chance, with a $10 bet leading to a $16 profit. Considering how Curry shoots and how the Lakers defend the arc, FanDuel’s price is too good to pass up.

Anthony Davis Over 25.5 points (-104 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Davis is now listed as probable for tonight’s game, which means it would be shocking if he didn’t play. In his first two games against the Warriors, he scored 27 and 29. It’s worth mentioning that James played in one of those two games, so whether he’s on the floor or not tonight, Davis has already proven he can score on the Warriors under any circumstance. 

Davis is averaging 24.7 points per game. In a game that should be high-scoring, it’s surprising to see his total only one point higher than his season average. Especially when you consider that the Warriors rank 16th in the league in points allowed in the paint, giving up 50.4 per game.

D'Angelo Russell Over 5.5 assists (-125 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It would be nice to get this prop for a price closer to -115, but since -125 is the best available, this is just a three-star play.

Russell has at least six assists in three consecutive games, and he’s averaging 6.2 per game this season. In his last game against the Warriors, he dished out nine assists. However, in the first meeting between these two teams, he played nearly 49 minutes and ended with just five assists.

While that is certainly worrisome, it’s also positive that his floor is essentially five against the Warriors. If James doesn’t play tonight, then this becomes a four-star play. If he does, just try to get this prop for the best price you can.
