The Oklahoma City Thunder are one win away from an NBA title as they face the Indiana Pacers tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for Game 6 of the Finals (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

Both our Thunder vs. Pacers prediction and our Thunder vs. Pacers player prop bets highlight Jalen Williams, who joins Shai Gilgeous-Alexander among the top contenders for the NBA Finals MVP odds.

While I'm aligned with our Gabe Henderson and his Thunder vs. Pacers prediction that backs Williams to continue his absurd play as he attempts to prove he's the best bet in the NBA Finals MVP odds race, I'm still loving the Over on Gilgeous-Alexander's steals.

Since Game 1 of the series against the Pacers, when our best sports betting sites were still offering the Over at plus-money, I've taken SGA to finish with at least two steals. It's hit in four of five games against Indiana, and I've got to go back to the well for Game 6.

SGA is averaging 2.4 steals per game against the Pacers as the banged-up Tyrese Haliburton continues to uncharacteristically give the ball away. Haliburton is turning it over four times per game against OKC, with three-plus in every contest after averaging just 1.6 in the regular season.

Clearly the Thunder's feisty defense, and SGA's quick hands, are getting the best of Indiana. Gilgeous-Alexander has finished with two-plus steals in 14 of his last 20 NBA playoff games (70%).

And on the other side of the floor, Gilgeous-Alexander continues to make history.
