Best NBA Parlays Today: Picks, Predictions for Tuesday's Games

Will Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets be able to secure a 1-0 series lead over the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals? Jon Metler shares his favorite NBA same-game parlay for Tuesday's games using the latest NBA odds.

The highly anticipated Western Conference Finals bring back memories of the bubble as the Los Angeles Lakers face the Denver Nuggets once again. In that previous encounter, the Lakers emerged as the victors. However, the Nuggets have since evolved into a more experienced and well-rounded team, and our favored by the NBA Finals odds.

My opinion of the Nuggets is incredibly positive, and this is evident in my NBA same-game parlay for Tuesday's Game 1 clash between the Nuggets and Lakers.

NBA SGP predictions: Lakers vs. Nuggets

LeBron James Over 5.5 assists vs. Nuggets (-122)

This price offered at FanDuel is nowhere near the favorable -104 we were able to bet on at BetRivers for our NBA best bets. I strongly suggest searching our best sports betting apps for a better price on James' assist prop as a straight bet. Although the -122 price is not as ideal as we would like it to be, it remains one of our stronger bets for this game, which is why it's included in the same-game parlay.

James is projected to drop 6.2 dimes against the Nuggets on Tuesday, allowing us to price this prop at -135. As you can see, attacking this prop as a straight bet at -104 would result in a higher expected value, but even at -122, this prop still holds value based on our projection.

Aaron Gordon 15+ points vs. Lakers (+115)

We included Aaron Gordon Over 13.5 points in our NBA best bets, and I highly recommend taking a straight bet on Gordon at one of our best NBA betting sites for Tuesday night's action. However, I understand that the same-game parlay enthusiasts are looking for plus money odds and a bigger payout. So, let's turn up the fun meter for Gordon and explore an alternate price that the projections allow us to take advantage of.

Gordon is expected to score 15.3 points against the Lakers on Tuesday, according to projections, which is a promising sign for his prop of 15-plus points that is trading at plus money. We can set the price for Gordon to score 15-plus points at -110 based on this projection. However, at FanDuel, we have the opportunity to grab this prop at an even better price of +115 - win some!

Nuggets -6 vs. Lakers (-112)

The Lakers have pulled off upsets against the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors to reach the Western Conference Finals. However, I believe the Nuggets pose a completely different challenge. It seems that we've been underestimating the Nuggets throughout the playoffs, as evidenced by their series price against the Phoenix Suns, where the Suns initially opened as favorites. At this moment, I firmly believe that the Nuggets are the best team remaining in the NBA playoffs, even ahead of the Boston Celtics.

With that being said, I'm inclined to favor the Nuggets as 7-point favorites on Tuesday night against the Lakers. This only provides a slight advantage over the line of Nuggets -6 (-112) at FanDuel, allowing us to price this spread at -118. If the line were to shift to Nuggets -6.5 (-110), I would recommend considering a different leg for this parlay. The spread is right at the point where it's about to lose its edge.
