The No. 1 seed Detroit Pistons are staring down a 2-1 deficit entering Game 4 against the No. 8 Orlando Magic at 8 p.m. ET on Monday from the Kia Center in Orlando on Peacock.

The Pistons are 2.5-point favorites to tie the series back up, but they'll need starting center Jalen Duren to break out of his funk to do that. That's why Duren is featured in my Pistons vs. Magic player props today as part of Monday's NBA picks and best bets.

πŸ’° Best Pistons vs. Magic prop bet

Jalen Duren to record a double-double (-105)

The Pistons need Duren to get back on track to avoid an upset. Betting on Duren's double-double odds is the best way to target that angle.

Duren is averaging nine points and 8.3 rebounds in this series. Both marks are below his regular-season production of 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds, notching a double-double in 41 of his 70 games. He recorded a double-double in three of the four regular-season meetings against Orlando, with his odds closing as high as -220.

This -105 price tag at FanDuel is worth scooping up.

Anthony Black Under 14.5 points + rebounds + assists (-110)

This has been a good series for my Jalen Suggs' stock, but his play has reduced Anthony Black's role as a reserve guard. Black is averaging 24 minutes per game in Round 1, which is nearly six minutes fewer than his regular-season average.

In that role, Black is averaging 6.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists with a 14.3% usage. All those marks are well below his regular-season averages. He hasn't cleared this line in the entire series. And yet, Black's PRA line is trading at 14.5 for a third straight game.

I don't think the market has adjusted to Black's reduced role against one of the league's best defensive teams. I'll gladly take this Under, which costs at least 12 cents more everywhere else.

I dove into Black's outlook too as part of our NBA player props today.

πŸš€ Pistons vs. Magic same-game parlay

I don't have a preference on who will win, so my Pistons vs. Magic parlay features my favorite player props. This two-leg parlay is just +219 at FanDuel, but it's a solid way to get action on tonight's Game 4.

πŸ’‘ How I'm betting Pistons vs. Magic

Follow all of our NBA analysis and expert predictions this season.

It’s been interesting to watch how the market has reacted to two struggling players in this series. There’s been a much sharper adjustment for the starting center, while the reserve guard continues to get the benefit of the doubt.

I’m not ready to write off Duren as a playoff performer. He averaged 11.8 points and 10.7 rebounds per game against New York last postseason. And considering his double-double odds were as steep as -230 in Game 1, this feels like an overreaction to a small sample of struggles.

Meanwhile, the market hasn’t adjusted enough for Black, whose PRA line has remained relatively steady throughout Round 1. There may be more signal in his postseason track record, as he’s only cleared this number twice in his last 10 playoff games.
