⬆️ Jalen Duren player prop: Over 17.5 points (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Detroit center Jalen Duren leads the Most Improved Player odds, as he’s making an All-Star leap for the No. 1 team in the Eastern Conference. Duren is averaging 20.6 points and 11.9 rebounds per game, shooting 67.4% from the field (fifth in the NBA).

Duren has scored at least 18 points in six straight contests and nine of his 13 outings this season. With the Bucks missing Giannis Antetokounmpo, their interior defense will be even more vulnerable tonight.

Milwaukee ranks 23rd in the league at defending the roll man on pick-and-rolls. Duren should thrive in this matchup, which is why I’m grabbing DraftKings’ -115 value to win $8.70 on a $10 wager.

The Bucks have only played one game without their best player, losing an overtime thriller to the Philadelphia 76ers. My main takeaway from that game is that this will be Ryan Rollins’ show until Antetokounmpo returns.

Rollins scored 32 points on 26 shots in that contest. He also finished with 14 assists on 19 potential assists. Milwaukee desperately needs his creation, which is why he played 40 minutes on Thursday.

The Pistons rank second in the league in defensive rating, which means Rollins won’t find as much success. However, this assists prop didn’t climb enough after closing 5.5 (with an Over of -160) last time out. I’ll take the Over on 6.5 dimes for Rollins on Saturday.

Jaden Ivey might make his season debut for the Pistons, but I’m not sure how much playing time they will give him in his first game back. If Ron Holland can get close to his 24 minutes per-game average tonight, I like his chances of maintaining his rate of 3.9 rebounds.

Holland has collected at least four rebounds in 10 of his 15 contests this year. He has 18 boards over his past four outings. The Bucks rank 25th in the league in rebound rate, a weakness that is even more pronounced without their franchise player.
