With Banchero sidelined, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope could become a more significant part of the Magic offense.
The newest Orlando player has had a slow start to the season, but this is a chance to flash his 3-and-D skill set. Caldwell-Pope has hit multiple 3-pointers in two of his five games thus far, including Wednesday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls when he went 2-for-7 from long range.
If Caldwell-Pope has similar volume in a game where the Magic are playing from behind, this is a valuable bet, especially since it’s similarly priced to previous games.
A winning bet will yield an $8.85 profit.
Of note, if Anthony Black’s assists prop become available, that might be my favorite angle for this game. The second-year guard could find himself in the starting lineup, and he is third on the team in potential assists behind Banchero and Jalen Suggs.

Sam Merrill is my favorite type of player to bet on when a game has the potential to be lopsided. The Cleveland reserve will get his shots up when on the floor, particularly from long range.
While bettors could take the -110 value over 1.5 3-pointers for Merrill, I prefer this -135 offering on him scoring at least six points. The same prop is trading as high as -150 at our best prop betting sites, indicating the higher win probability of this wager.
Merrill has cleared this mark in three of his five games, averaging 5.4 points and 19 minutes per contest. If his playing time is in the 20s (like it has been for three games in a row), I think he will have no problem scoring at least six points.
Evan Mobley prop bet: Under 8.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐

It’s been an excellent start to the season for us Kenny Atkinson Coach of the Year bettors, as he is maximizing Evan Mobley's production. Mobley is averaging 19.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and two blocks per game this year.
In a game where Mobley might not see as much playing time in the fourth quarter, I’ll fade his rebounding impact. He’s finished below this mark in three of his past four games, failing to record more than six boards in two contests.
I project below eight rebounds against Orlando, so this Under is playable at -125 or better. A winning $10 bet profits $8.33.
