Jayson Tatum Over 6.5 assists (+112)

Since his return, Tatum has been making an impact as a passer. He's averaging 7.8 assists and 63.9 passes per contest since March 29, clearing this assist line in eight of his nine games over that span.

In this series, Tatum has averaged 67.3 passes, including 70 passes in back-to-back games. He's finished with seven or more dimes in all three matchups, averaging 7.7 assists.

This assist line has climbed from 5.5 to 6.5 at this point in the series, but I still like the Over as long as it's at +105 or better.

For the fourth time in as many games, I'm betting a Derrick White prop in this series. I don't understand why the market continues to believe in the Celtics guard.

White's PRA line has barely moved since the start of the series, dropping from 23.5 to 22.5. However, his shooting struggles have been well documented. White hasn't cleared this line in seven straight contests and 14 of his previous 15 games.

In the 15 games since Tatum's return, White is averaging 12 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. I'll take this Under at 22.5 or better.

I’ve continued to back Tatum and White throughout this Round 1 series because the market still isn’t properly accounting for how closely their production is tied together.

Since returning from his Achilles injury, Tatum’s presence has naturally pushed White down the pecking order. With Tatum and Jaylen Brown driving the offense and commanding heavy usage, White has settled into a more tertiary role. That alignment makes sense, but it’s also contributed to his recent offensive dip.

At the same time, Tatum looks as sharp as ever. His level of play this postseason has elevated Boston into a legitimate title contender, and the offense is clearly running through him.
