We're taking a look at our favorite NBA player props and the best bets for the Tuesday slate based on the best NBA odds.

The Association’s five-game Christmas schedule was full of excitement while featuring plenty of entertaining affairs. Now we get a jumbo, nine-game slate with enticing player props this Tuesday.

The Memphis Grizzlies take on the New Orleans Pelicans after defeating them last week on a Ja Morant buzzer-beater. The Chicago Bulls host the Atlanta Hawks, and a Bulls veteran should be in line for big minutes and strong scoring. A young center for the Houston Rockets gets a tremendous draw with the Indiana Pacers, and the Sacramento Kings head north to face the Portland Trail Blazers with a veteran center of their own taking center stage.

Here are our NBA player props and best bets for Tuesday (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Tuesday’s NBA player props

Jonas Valanciunas Over 10.5 rebounds vs. Grizzlies (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Ja Morant has been hot in three games since returning from a 25-game suspension. Morant has guided his team to a 3-0 record while scoring at least 30 points twice. I was interested in his points prop (set at 28.5), but Valanciunas has been such a force on the glass lately that I couldn’t pass this one up.

Valanciunas has grabbed at least 11 rebounds in six of his last seven appearances, averaging 13 boards per game in that span. He grabbed 12 and 14 rebounds, respectively, in two prior matchups with his former team this season.

To sweeten this prop’s appeal, Memphis allows the fifth-most rebounds per games to opponents. We’ll ride the hot hand and bank on at least 11 rebounds in this great spot.

DeMar DeRozan Over 25.5 points vs. Hawks (-105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Zach LaVine remains out, which means DeRozan should continue to operate as Chicago’s go-to option on offense. The Hawks allow the fourth-most points to opponents this season, and Atlanta has been even more generous over their last three contests. DeRozan should be able to take advantage of the favorable matchup.

In 12 games played without LaVine this season, DeRozan has averaged 23.9 points per game, going for at least 26 in four of them. He averages 23.1 points per game at home compared to 21.4 on the road. DeRozan has had his way with Atlanta since joining the Bulls, and he’s averaged 27.9 points per game in eight matchups, going for at least 26 points in five of them.

The -105 odds at DraftKings are the best you'll find across our best sports betting apps.

Alperen Sengun Over 38.5 points + rebounds + assists vs. Pacers (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

This is a lofty PRA total to hit, but Sengun has been masterful as of late, and he’s got a phenomenal matchup against Indiana. On the season, the Rockets’ big man has averaged 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists, good for 34.8 PRAs. Over his last five, he’s averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists, good for 38.6.

He posted at least 39 PRAs in each of his last two outings, including his most recent game in which Sengun dropped a career-high 37 points against the New Orleans Pelicans. No team allows more points in the paint than Indiana, and it’s not particularly close. The Pacers have been crushed on the glass, and the team ranks 10th in most rebounds allowed overall and seventh in most allowed on the road.

We’re taking the breakout center to deliver a third straight masterpiece, and DraftKings has the best price on this prop among our best sports betting sites.

Domantas Sabonis Over 13.5 Rebounds vs. Trail Blazers (-105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Another day, another Sabonis rebounds prop. One of the best board-crashers in the Association gets a highly favorable matchup with one of the most generous teams to opposing rebounders. Sabonis has pulled down at least 14 rebounds in nine games this season, but he hasn’t done it in any of his last five outings.

Sabonis’ triple-double prop was quite tempting, as he’s averaged a 21/10/10 line over his last five, with three triple-doubles in that span. We won’t bet on that outcome, however, because Sabonis will play this one on the road, and his home/road assist splits don’t favor it. He hasn’t recorded more than eight assists in any road game this season, and all five of his triple-doubles have come on the road.

Portland sports one of the weakest frontcourts in the Association, with Deandre Ayton starting at center and no one of note behind him. Sabonis is a slightly better rebounder on the road than at home, so we’ll bet on him crashing the glass more than facilitating this evening.
