I would usually directionally want to bet the Over on a player when his team's top three scorers are out, but the situation doesn't call for it tonight in Detroit.

The Pistons are ranked second in the NBA in defensive efficiency, and since this is an Eastern Conference matchup, they're ranked first in the East. Edgecombe's career high against the Pistons is 18 points - and Joel Embiid and Paul George also missed that game. BetMGM lists VJ Edgecombe Under 19.5 points at -118, but this bet is good up to -135 at the best sports betting sites.
