As mentioned above, the Storm covered this same spread by a comfortable margin in the last head-to-head meeting. Reese, who has been out since late July, missed that game. I think that matchup is a good example of how there are levels to the bottom of the league.

The Sky haven’t really been in games of late, failing to cover the spread in nine of their past 10 games. Since Reese has been sidelined, Chicago ranks last in the league with a net rating of -17.8. The next-closest team is the Dallas Wings, who have a net rating of -9.9.

The Storm, meanwhile, have a -3.7 net rating over that same stretch. They have been on the wrong side of a lot of close games, with seven of their past eight games being decided by four points or fewer.
