The Liberty, who are the No. 5 seed after winning the title last year, are about to go on a run with about 2½ weeks until the start of the postseason. They finally have a full roster for the first time all year after dealing with injuries to Jonquel Jones and Stewart, and recently adding Emma Meesseman.
My only concern is that I might be too early by laying a double-digit spread. New York barely held off the Connecticut Sun for an 81-79 victory in Stewart’s first game back. Natasha Cloud missed that matchup but is expected to return on Thursday.
However, the Liberty have so much length in their lineup, which should be a problem for a Washington team that traded away its leading scorer in Brittney Sykes and are 3-7 straight up since. As strange as it might seem, the Mystics are a more favorable matchup than the Sun. This is an opportunity for Liberty to make a statement.

Considering the length of New York’s lineup, Ionescu doesn’t need to crash the glass much against Washington. A $10 wager on this prop provides an appealing $7.41 profit, which is much better than FanDuel’s offering of -152 for the same ticket.
