🏀 Mercury vs. Fever Prediction: WNBA Picks for Monday, June 22
Last Updated: June 22, 2026 11:06 AM EDT • 3 minute read X Social Google News Link
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever look to end a two-game skid when they play host to the struggling Phoenix Mercury tonight at 8 p.m. ET (USA Network, WNBA League Pass) from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Indiana is a 6.5-point betting favorite at home, and my Mercury vs. Fever prediction is expecting Clark and this potent offense to pull off a decisive win.

🏆 Who will win Mercury vs. Fever?
Indiana has the most explosive offense in the W, and the Mercury don't have the firepower to match. Even with Alyssa Thomas being the engine of Phoenix's offense, the lack of talent around her has killed the team's momentum a year after they reached the WNBA Finals. With just two players averaging more than 12 PPG, the Mercury won't be able to keep up with Clark and Co., who I have winning by 10.
Score prediction: Fever 95, Mercury 85
💰 Mercury vs. Fever prediction & best bet
Fever -6.5 (-106)
Though Indiana's defense remains an issue, the Fever's offense has looked borderline unstoppable at times. Steph White's team leads the league in PPG (92.4) and pace (81.9), behind the three-headed monster of Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston (combined 59.1 PPG).
Indiana's optional approach to defense has hurt it against playoff caliber teams, but Phoenix is far from that this season. The Mercury are bottom five in offensive rating (103.9), effective field-goal percentage (49%), and 3-pointers per game (8.0).
They don't have the defense to make up for their lack of offense either, sitting bottom five in defensive rating (109.2).
🔥 Best Mercury vs. Fever player prop bet
Caitlin Clark Over 21.5 points (-108)
While Clark's 3-point shooting remains a far cry from what we saw from her at Iowa, she's still managed to turn into one of the W's top scorers in her third season as a pro. A large reason why is her volume.
Clark is sitting No. 3 in the league in field-goal attempts per game (15.9), No. 7 in free throw attempts per game (6.1), and No. 2 in usage rate (31.8%).
She's turned that usage into major scoring production as of late, too. Clark's averaging 26 PPG over her last five outings, and has gone Over 21.5 points in four of those five games.
The Mercury aren't equipped to slow her down, with Phoenix allowing the most threes per game in the W (9.6).
🚀 Mercury vs. Fever same-game parlay
If the Fever are going to end their two-game losing streak, it will be because their offense continues to put up jaw-dropping numbers. Powering their attack will be Clark, who's putting up some of the best scoring numbers of her career right now.
