🏀 Lynx vs. Sky Prediction: WNBA Picks for Saturday, May 23
Last Updated: May 22, 2026 5:03 PM EDT • 3 minute read X Social Google News Link
The Minnesota Lynx look for revenge after last weekend's loss to the Chicago Sky when the two teams meet at 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+) at Wintrust Arena in Chicago on Saturday afternoon.
Despite still being down perennial WNBA MVP odds contender Napheesa Collier, Minnesota is a 2.5-point betting favorite, and my Lynx vs. Sky prediction projects them to pull out the road win.

🏆 Who will win Lynx vs. Sky?
Even down Collier, the Lynx have been competitive in every game this season. They're coming off their best offensive performance of the year, a 28-point win over the Toronto Tempo, and have the defensive chops to slow a banged-up Sky team.
Score prediction: Lynx 84, Sky 80
💰 Lynx vs. Sky prediction & best bet
Lynx -2.5 (-105)
Minnesota has lost two games by a combined eight points while covering the spread in four of five this season. Cheryl Reeve has her squad ranked sixth in the W in net rating (+6.1), while without an MVP candidate, thanks to a scrappy rotation led by Courtney Williams and Kayla McBride.
With Williams and Nia Coffey anchoring the defense, they should be able to slow a Chicago team that has the fourth-lowest effective field-goal percentage (48.1%) and 3-point percentage (29.4%) in the W.
The Sky are also dealing with several injuries, including being without leading scorer Rickea Jackson (18 PPG).
🔥 Best Lynx vs. Sky player prop bet
Olivia Miles Over 5.5 assists (-138)
The WNBA Rookie of the Year favorite has lived up to her billing as the missing link for a Minnesota team that lacked a star point guard. Miles is top 20 in the W in assist rate (28%) and top 10 in APG (5.6), having gone Over 5.5 in three of five games.
Chicago's defense has slipped after a hot start, too, with the Sky falling to sixth in defensive rating (104.6) and allowing 89.6 PPG across their last three outings.
Miles is averaging 0.19 assists per minute played this season, so if she hits 32 minutes (she has in three of five games), she's likely to go Over 5.5 assists.
🚀 Lynx vs. Sky same-game parlay
For Minnesota to win this game, it needs to show up defensively and for Miles to continue shining as a playmaker. The Lynx have a veteran lineup capable of exposing the Sky's injuries.
