With both teams coming off a loss, Thursday’s matchup between the Minnesota Lynx (28-6) and Atlanta Dream (22-13) could have some higher stakes as we explore what to expect with our Lynx vs. Dream prediction. Minnesota and Atlanta will clash at 7:30 p.m. ET at Gateway Center Arena (WNBA League Pass).
The Lynx, who are WNBA championship odds favorites, always seem to respond well after a loss. That’s why they are short 1-point favorites on the road at our best sports betting sites. But the Dream are hoping to prove they belong against the best team in the league.
We project value in backing the better team on the road but have a best player prop in mind for Atlanta's top playmaker.

Tuesday's 10-point defeat to the New York Liberty marked Minnesota’s sixth regular-season loss of the year. In the previous five occasions, the Lynx are 5-0 in their next game with an average margin of victory of 11.2 points.
I don’t know if Napheesa Collier will return on Thursday after being out more than two weeks with an ankle injury, but this is typically a spot where the Lynx have thrived this year.
💰 Lynx vs. Dream prediction & WNBA best bet

🔒 Lynx -1 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
📊 Best odds: -110 via FanDuel ($10 to win $9.09)
Not only are the Lynx 5-0 when coming off a regular-season loss this year, but they are 4-0-1 against the spread. Their lone push was when they defeated the Liberty by seven following a four-point loss to the Dream.
Considering we need Minnesota to win at this price, I will back the best team in the league as a four-star play. The Lynx are 20-13-1 against the spread in regular-season games this year.
The Lynx will indeed begin to lack motivation during these final weeks, as they are 6.5 games up on anyone else for the No. 1 seed. However, I don’t see that being a problem in this one after Minnesota lost on Tuesday and dropped its previous head-to-head matchup with Atlanta.
Collier’s potential return would be just icing on the cake. But I don’t necessarily need it to back the Lynx as 1-point favorites at our best sports betting apps.

👀 Lynx vs. Dream player prop

🔥 Allisha Gray Over 3.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐
📊 Best odds: +135 via bet365 ($10 to win $13.50)
Each product featured on our website has been meticulously researched and selected by our team of experts. If you sign up through our links, we may get a commission.
This is more of a price play than anything else, as FanDuel offers bettors a +108 value for the same ticket. Gray has cleared this assist prop in three of her five games, a stretch that coincides with the team losing Jordin Canada. Gray is averaging 3.7 assists per contest. I’ll take this +135 value at bet365.
