In a rematch from a one-sided season opener, the Las Vegas Aces will host the Seattle Storm during Thursday's WNBA matchup on Amazon Prime Video. Read on for our Storm vs. Aces prediction based on the best WNBA odds.

These two teams met during Game 1 of the 2023 WNBA season, and the defending champion Las Vegas Aces clobbered the Seattle Storm in a 105-64 affair. The 41-point win was the largest by any team in a season opener in WNBA history.

Things haven't really changed much since then. The Aces are atop the league standings at 8-1, coming off a 93-80 win over the Chicago Sky on Sunday. The Storm are 2-6 on the year and ranked last in my updated power ratings.

While Thursday's rematch should be closer, Las Vegas is expected to cruise as a 17.5-point home favorite via our best sports betting apps. To be honest, that made finding a pick for this game rather challenging.

Here is our best Storm vs. Aces prediction (odds via DraftKings; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Whenever Wilson's rebound prop is this low, we must consider taking advantage.

Wilson paces Las Vegas with an average of 8.2 rebounds per game, which ranks 11th in the league at this point in the season. She has cleared this particular rebound prop in five of her nine games thus far, including three of the last four. Wilson record double-digit rebounds in all five of those contests.

In the season opener, Wilson collected 13 rebounds against the Storm, who rank 10th in the league in total rebounds per game with an average of 34.1 boards per contest. Center Ezi Magbegor is the lone player on Seattle's roster averaging more than 6.1 rebounds per game, with a clip of 8.6 boards per contest.

Many of the best sports betting sites don't offer rebounding markets in the WNBA, and DraftKings is currently alone with its two-player prop market as of Thursday morning.

Magbegor and Wilson both currently have a rebound prop of 8.5, with the former having an Over juiced to -120 while Wilson's Under is valued at -120. That could honestly be switched, as Wilson should have another field day on the glass against the Storm.

This also seems like a good opportunity to point out that Wilson's WNBA MVP odds are as long as +450 at BetMGM right now. The last time a player won the MVP award without being on the best team in the regular season was 2016. If the Aces continue to roll, Wilson has a very strong case to win the MVP award for the second year in a row.

For now, we just need her to collect nine rebounds in a blowout win over the Storm.

Only a select number of our best sportsbooks offer WNBA player props, and DraftKings is the only shop with a rebound market as of Thursday morning. So, we are comparing the Aces spread in this section as there could be value in laying the points.

My power ratings make Las Vegas a 23-point favorite, winning this game by a 95-72 margin. If that projection holds true, bettors will want to take advantage of PointsBet's favorable spread before it is too late.

Hopefully, this helps provide you a way to play this game if the rebound prop is no longer available.
