Daytona 500 Prop Bets 2026: Best Props, Picks & Odds for Sunday's Race
Last Updated: February 14, 2026 10:00 AM EST • 7 minute read X Social Google News Link
The best NASCAR race of the season begins Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET (FOX), and I'm breaking down all of the Daytona 500 prop bets with the latest odds and my picks for every prop bet market ahead of this weekend's race at Daytona International Speedway.
All of the following markets are at Caesars, which offers the most prop bet markets for Sunday's race, but you can bet on most of these Daytona 500 props across any of the best sports betting sites under the "NASCAR Daytona 500" dropdown.
🔧 Daytona 500 manufacturer prop bets
Here are the latest manufacturer prop bet odds via Caesars for the Daytona 500:
Winning manufacturer
| Manufacturer | Odds |
|---|---|
| Ford | +135 |
| Chevrolet | +140 |
| Toyota | +325 |
This is one of my favorite bets ahead of each race, and while I don't love laying the short price ahead of such a chaotic race, this does feel like Ford's opportunity to get back to Victory Lane after three years of close wins for Chevy. Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney both looked great in the first Daytona Duel on Thursday, as did the RFK Racing Fords, so I'm betting on power in numbers for Sunday's big race.
Best bet: Ford winning manufacturer (+135)
💵 My best bet: Ford winning manufacturer +190
While I don't mind this price on Ford at +135 via Caesars, my favorite prop bet for the Daytona 500 is this exact wager at +190 odds via bet365 - a massive value compared to the odds elsewhere. I'd comfortably play this prop anywhere shorter than +125 for Sunday.
Top Chevrolet driver
| Driver | Odds |
|---|---|
| Kyle Busch | +600 |
| William Byron | +600 |
| Chase Elliott | +600 |
| Kyle Larson | +750 |
| Alex Bowman | +800 |
| Ricky Stenhouse Jr | +1200 |
| Ross Chastain | +1400 |
| Carson Hocevar | +1500 |
| Connor Zilisch | +1600 |
| Michael McDowell | +1800 |
| AJ Allmendinger | +1800 |
| Daniel Suarez | +2000 |
| Austin Dillon | +2200 |
| Justin Allgaier | +2800 |
| Shane Van Gisbergen | +3000 |
| Cole Custer | +3500 |
| Ty Dillon | +4000 |
| Cody Ware | +6000 |
| BJ McLeod | +7500 |
William Byron is the two-time defending champion in this event, but if there's one Chevy I'm worried about as someone backing the Fords on Sunday, it has to be Kyle Busch. The former two-time Cup Series champion has never won Daytona but took the pole in qualifying and looked competitive on track in the first Duel. He's always live at this track.
Best bet: Kyle Busch top Chevrolet (+600)
Top Ford driver
| Driver | Odds |
|---|---|
| Ryan Blaney | +350 |
| Joey Logano | +400 |
| Austin Cindric | +500 |
| Brad Keselowski | +700 |
| Chris Buescher | +800 |
| Ryan Preece | +1000 |
| Josh Berry | +1200 |
| Todd Gilliland | +1800 |
| Zane Smith | +2200 |
| Noah Gragson | +2500 |
| Casey Mears | +7500 |
I gave out Logano as my pick to win this race in my early Daytona 500 predictions, so it should come as no surprise that I like the No. 22 in this market, too. The former Daytona 500 winner always seems to find his way to the front of a Ford brigade at this track, just as he did with Blaney to win Thursday's opening Duel. He's arguably the best superspeedway driver in the field - he should be the top Ford this weekend.
Best bet: Joey Logano top Ford (+400)
Top Toyota driver
| Driver | Odds |
|---|---|
| Denny Hamlin | +350 |
| Bubba Wallace | +360 |
| Christopher Bell | +500 |
| Chase Briscoe | +650 |
| Tyler Reddick | +650 |
| Ty Gibbs | +1000 |
| Erik Jones | +1000 |
| John Hunter Nemechek | +1600 |
| Corey Heim | +2000 |
| Jimmie Johnson | +2000 |
| Riley Herbst | +2500 |
It's been six years since Denny Hamlin won back-to-back Daytona 500s as the last Toyota driver to reach Victory Lane in the Great American Race. I'm tempted to lay the short odds and bet No. 11 to open the season with a vengeance, but I'm intrigued by teammate Chase Briscoe, who took fourth in the Daytona 500 last year in his Joe Gibbs Racing debut and will start from the front row Sunday.
Best bet: Chase Briscoe top Toyota (+650)
🔁 Daytona 500 lap prop bets
Here are the latest lap prop bets and odds via Caesars for the Daytona 500:
Lap leader O/U prop bets
| Prop bet | Over odds | Under odds |
|---|---|---|
| O/U 20.5 drivers on lead lap at finish | -135 | +105 |
| O/U 18.5 drivers to lead a lap | +100 | -130 |
| O/U 46.5 lead changes | -140 | +110 |
| O/U 10.5 laps led by race winner | +100 | -130 |
| O/U 44.5 most laps led by any driver | +125 | -130 |
There are so many good markets here baked into one general premise: how crazy will this year's Daytona 500 get? Last year's race saw 56 lead changes but just 15 drivers led a lap with Cindric (59), Logano (43), and Blaney (23) teaming up to control most of the race. If that happens again, I would expect a more tame outcome Sunday than these odds imply with a handful of drivers dictating the pace for 200 laps.
Best bet: Over 44.5 most laps led by any driver (+125)
Lap leader to win race
| Winner to lead at ... | Odds |
|---|---|
| Lap 5 | +1000 |
| Lap 10 | +1000 |
| Lap 25 | +1200 |
| Lap 40 | +1400 |
| Lap 190 | +400 |
This isn't my favorite type of market to bet into, as whenever you have a "yes" option without a "no" option, you're probably not betting into a sharp market. That said, catching +400 odds on the leader at lap 190 sounds like a fun way to enjoy this race - even if there isn't a ton of value in any of these particular options.
Best bet: Leader of lap 190 to win race (+400)
🏁 Daytona 500 race winner props
Here are the latest race winner prop bet odds via Caesars for the Daytona 500:
Winning team
| Team | Odds |
|---|---|
| Team Penske | +350 |
| Hendrick Motorsports | +375 |
| Joe Gibbs Racing | +500 |
| RFK Racing | +650 |
| Richard Childress Racing | +900 |
| 23XI Racing | +1000 |
| Spire Motorsports | +1400 |
| Trackhouse Racing Team | +1400 |
| Legacy Motor Club | +1800 |
| Front Row Motorsports | +2000 |
| Hyak Motorsports | +3500 |
| Wood Brothers Racing | +3500 |
| Kaulig Racing | +4000 |
| JR Motorsports | +6000 |
| Hass Factory Team | +8000 |
| Rick Ware Racing | +15000 |
| Live Fast Motorsports | +15000 |
This is a fun market that always calls my name for big specialized races like this one. As someone backing Logano to win this race, my eyes are immediately drawn to Team Penske, especially with Logano, Blaney, and Austin Cindric all ranking among the best superspeedway drivers in the field. The only other bet I'd consider here is RFK Racing, but with such short odds for a group led by Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher, I'd rather back Ford's flagship racing team in Penske.
Best bet: Team Penske to win race (+350)
Winning car number Over/Under
| Winning car number | Over odds | Under odds |
|---|---|---|
| 12.5 | -160 | +130 |
| 19.5 | -120 | -110 |
| 22.5 | +140 | -180 |
This is another market I'm not especially fond of - it's hard enough to project the winners of this race without splitting it up semi-arbitrarily by car number. Let's just consider the options, though. Considering I can get all three Team Penske cars plus Hamlin, Busch, Keselowski, Buescher, Chase Elliott, and Kyle Larson all with Under 22.5? That looks like the obvious bet to me, even if it comes at a steeper price. (You can also bet the grid position of the winner O/U 14.5, but I prefer the odds in this market over that one.)
Best bet: Winning car number Under 22.5 (-180)
Other Daytona 500 prop bets
| Market | Yes |
|---|---|
| Will race go to overtime? | -250 |
| Will winner be past Daytona 500 winner? | +185 |
| Will winner of Stage 1 win race? | +1000 |
| Will winner of Stage 2 win race? | +800 |
| Will winner of Stage 1 and 2 win race? | +6500 |
These are what I'd consider "fun" bets for the Daytona 500 - there isn't a ton of math to support them, especially without a two-way market to compare the odds for both sides, but it can be a fun way to juice your experience in the final laps. Daytona ends in overtime roughly every other year due to the craziness of the final few laps, which also makes the stage winner bets tough to justify even at those long odds. I actually do expect a former Daytona winner to strike again on Sunday, so that feels like the best value to me.
Best bet: Winner will be past Daytona 500 winner (+185)
