We're down to the final race of the season as I offer my Abu Dhabi Grand Prix best bets, which feature the two drivers most likely to win the championship, Max Verstappen and Lando Norris.

After securing pole position, Verstappen is the -250 betting favorite to take the checkered flag in today's race at Yas Marina Circuit (8 a.m. ET, ESPN). However, McLaren driver Norris only needs a podium finish to win his maiden championship. Oscar Piastri is also in with a chance to win the title, but the Aussie requires much more help.

🔮 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix predictions, expert picks & best bets

Here are my Abu Dhabi Grand Prix best bets for Sunday's race at Yas Marina Circuit.

Pick to win Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: Max Verstappen ⭐⭐⭐

Man on a mission aptly describes Verstappen's form since early September, with the four-time defending champion victorious in five of the previous eight races, including the last two.

He's in pole position, which bodes well for Yas Marina Circuit, as the last five drivers starting from first on the grid won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, including a four-race win streak by the Dutchman.

Verstappen won this race from 2020 to 2023, but had to settle for second last year. His track record on this circuit and unwillingness to go quietly into the night should provide a grandstand finish to the season. While I expect him to win the race, he'll likely fall just shy of his fifth straight title.

The odds for a Verstappen win range from -230 to -330, with FanDuel providing the best value. Its -230 odds imply a 69.70% win probability, and a successful $10 bet will profit $4.35. It's only a three-star play due to the short odds.

Best odds: -230 via FanDuel

Best value bet to win Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: Lando Norris ⭐⭐⭐

McLaren has done its utmost to bundle Norris' bid for a first championship. The Constructors' Champions will be thrilled to see the end of this season, considering how poorly things have gone recently.

Another critical strategic error in Qatar led to Norris' demise. The Brit didn't cover himself in glory either as he struggled to make inroads for most of the race. In truth, he was fortunate to finish fourth.

Norris won last year's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, so he has that going for him. Yas Marina Circuit is one of the faster tracks on the circuit, which should benefit the 26-year-old. He also knows that finishing on the podium would guarantee his maiden title.

I expect him to wrap up the title, albeit just, finishing second. Of the best sports betting sites, DraftKings has the best price. Its +300 odds will profit $30 on a winning $10 bet.

Best odds: +300 via DraftKings

Best long shot to win Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: George Russell ⭐⭐

With the woeful track record of long shots in the current F1 season, two stars for this pick is generous. As he has for most of the season, Russell represents the best long-shot pick. He is the only driver, excluding the big three, to win a race, with the Brit triumphant twice.

He finished among the top two in three of the previous seven races, taking second place in Las Vegas. In 2023, Russell took third place at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Norris, Verstappen, and Piastri must make a mistake for Russell to win, but anything is possible considering the high stakes. The +3300 odds will profit $330 if Russell pulls off the improbable. According to the odds, he has a 2.94% chance of winning.

Best odds: +3300 via bet365
