For Dallas, it's a chance at redemption after being swept by the Aces in the previous series, leading to Las Vegas claiming their second consecutive title. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET at College Park in Arlington, Texas, airing on NBA TV.

Aces vs. Wings predictions for Wednesday

I would love to bet against the Aces, I really would. This team has been inconsistent through the first three weeks and is coming off a puzzling loss to the Atlanta Dream, whom I had slotted below the Wings in my latest WNBA power rankings.

But that loss came five days ago, and the schedule-makers gave the team the gift of all that time off. That means Las Vegas has been enjoying plenty of time to rest and rue that loss before facing Dallas, which is riding a two-game losing streak of its own as it fights through a laundry list of injuries.

Even if Ogunbowale goes off in this one, I'm not sure the Wings boast enough healthy talent around her to keep pace with Wilson and Co. in a quintessential bounce-back spot for the road favorites.

For all of the attention on Wilson thus far, her teammate has put together an MVP-worthy season of her own, as we wrote about last week while breaking down Jackie Young's WNBA odds ahead of Friday's defeat in Atlanta.

She endured her worst game of the season in that 78-74 loss, posting "only" 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists (26 combined). She was averaging 21.8 points, 8.2 assists, and 5.4 rebounds (35.4 combined) in her first five games, clearing this prop total in four of those contests, and often easily.

Now she faces a Wings defense allowing the third-most assists per game (21.1) with an unsightly 102.1 defensive rating, which ranks eighth but with a huge gap above it. Opposing guards have gone off against Dallas recently, and it feels like Young's turn to do the same.
