Neither team comes into this game with much momentum, as the Giants snapped a six-game losing streak while avoiding a season-high seven-game skid in the series opener, and the Mets had a four-game losing streak before yesterday’s win.

My Giants vs. Mets prediction favors San Francisco’s moneyline odds, as I currently trust its lineup more.

All of New York’s top sluggers have struggled for some time. Entering Saturday, Francisco Lindor batted .199 with a .597 OPS over the last 48 games, after batting .284 with a .843 OPS over the first 60.

Juan Soto was also batting just .136 in his previous 17 games, and Pete Alonso entered 5-for-47 since the All-Star break.
