Here's a breakdown of my best MLB strikeout prop predictions and expert picks today. Check out the rest of our MLB picks along with our guide on how to bet on MLB.  

Jose Soriano Over 5.5 strikeouts (-105)

This number seems a little low for a pitcher in the midst of the best season of his career, and for an ace who's in the 93rd percentile in whiff percentage. It helps that big names like Nick Kurtz (3-for-12, 5 Ks) and Shea Langeliers (7-for-14, 5 Ks) will be good for a strikeout or two today. Let's lock this in as one of our best strikeout props today.

Ranger Suarez Over 5.5 strikeouts (-144)

Suarez - who's also featured in my best NRFI bets today - gets the nod against a team he has historically dominated. The lefty's 24.5% K rate this year is among the best of his career, and he's taking that to the next level against the Mariners, punching them out at a 27% rate across 51 plate appearances. This includes Josh Naylor, who's K'd four times in nine at-bats, and Cal Raleigh, who's walked back to the dugout twice in five plate appearances. I like where we're at here, as I'd price this play closer to -160 betting odds. Fire me up.
