The "People’s Open" is back at TPC Scottsdale, and I'm dropping my best Brooks Koepka bets for the 2026 WM Phoenix Open to get you set for the week. After a fine showing at Torrey Pines, Koepka returns to a course where he's hoisted the trophy twice (2015, 2021).
If you’re looking to back Brooks this week, I've broken down the best value plays based on his current form and historic dominance in Arizona.

| Top 20 finish | +200 |
| First round leader | +3500 |
🏌️ Best bets for Brooks Koepka at WM Phoenix Open
Here are my three best plays for Koepka at the WM Phoenix Open.
Top 20 finish (+200)
An outright ticket at +4000 looks like the sexy pick, but the sharper play is backing Koepka to crack the top 20, which is featured in my WM Phoenix Open picks. He settled for a T56 at the Farmers Insurance Open last week, yet his tee-to-green performance was elite.
Nearly seven strokes were lost on the greens at Torrey Pines for Koepka, which points to likely positive putting regression this week. Returning to the comfortable surfaces at TPC Scottsdale, Koepka is a strong candidate to rebound and push toward the top of the leaderboard. In his last WM Phoenix Open appearance back in 2022, he tied for third at 15-under-par.
Matchup bet: Koepka over J.J. Spaun (+162)
At the moment, most sportsbooks list Brooks as a slight underdog against J.J. Spaun. However, Koepka’s ceiling at TPC Scottsdale is much higher. He performs well in the rowdy environment of the coliseum at the 16th hole, while Spaun's recent form hasn't shown the same fire required for a Sunday charge at the Phoenix Open. In fact, Spaun has either missed the cut or withdrawn in each of the past three years at this tournament.
Our Esten McLaren discusses whether or not there will be a hole-in-one on the 16th hole.
First-round leader (+3500)
This is my favorite long shot play. Brooks is paired with Xander Schauffele and Cameron Young for the first two rounds. This high-profile grouping usually brings out the major championship version of Koepka. He historically starts strong at TPC Scottsdale to distance himself from the cut-line stress, and if he strings some holes together, this sleeper play for the WM Phoenix Open could cash.
