The Huskies and their perfect record travel for a Saturday showdown against the Trojans, and we're giving our top Washington vs. USC prediction utilizing the most favorable college football odds.

Both Washington and USC field high-powered offenses, each averaging more than 40 points per game, with USC standing out nationally as the second-highest scoring team at 45.9 points per game. USC's offense has been remarkably consistent, achieving at least 32 points in eight out of their nine games and surpassing the 40-point mark in seven of those contests, highlighting their offensive strength.

The Huskies have displayed strong offensive performances, surpassing the 30-point mark in seven of their eight games and scoring over 40 points in five of those matchups. On the defensive front, Washington ranks tied for 33rd in the nation, allowing an average of 20.6 points per game.

To accompany all of our college football predictions for Week 10 and our college football best bets, here is our best Washington vs. USC prediction and our college football picks (odds via our best college football betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Washington vs. USC prediction: Week 10

Over 76.5 points (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The only team that has been able to get the better of Caleb Williams this season was the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Williams threw for fewer than 200 yards for the first time since Week 4 of last season in that game, but aside from that, Williams and the Trojans’ offense have been a machine, scoring at least 40 points in almost every game.

The Huskies have a much better defense than they are given credit for, but they have given up at least 30 points in three of their last five games. We expect to see Williams and the Trojans get into the 30s for the ninth time this season, and we wouldn’t be surprised if they hit 40 again.

But the real reason this total is going over is Michael Penix Jr. He has thrown for 2,945 yards and 24 touchdowns this season. He has five games with four or more touchdown passes and has thrown for at least 275 yards in every game this season.

The Trojans aren’t going to be able to stop Penix Jr., just like they haven’t been able to stop anyone this season. The Huskies are averaging more than five red zone opportunities per game, which is third-best in college football, but they can score from all over the field. Their average yards per score is the 16th-longest in the NCAA.

DraftKings is the only sportsbook offering the Over with more vig than the standard -110, so we recommend you look elsewhere for this wager.

The other four of our best sports betting apps are offering the same total for the same price, we recommend waiting this one out. Right now, the Under is seeing most of the action, and with this number so high, we don’t see why oddsmakers would shy away from dropping the total a bit. When that happens, get in for the best price you can get.

Washington vs. USC odds analysis

The Trojans opened as 1.5-point favorites at our best sports betting sites, but over the past week, the Huskies have become the favorites. They’re now favored by three at each of the five major sportsbooks. Over 70% of wagers back the Huskies to cover the spread in this game, so we expect this number is more likely to climb to 3.5 than drop to 2.5. If you’re on the Huskies, get in now.

The total opened at 76.5, and it has stayed there at our best sportsbooks. Despite each of these teams averaging over 40 points per game, 60% of bettors are backing the Under. If you’re on the Over, you can wait a bit to see if this number drops. It’s hard to imagine it going any higher than it is now, no matter how much support the Over garners.
