Parrish didn’t score in Week 1 against Furman, but he has scored in every game since. He’s scored at least two touchdowns in a game twice and once scored four (vs. Middle Tennessee State, Week 2).

The Tigers have a top-30 rushing defense, but that has more to do with who they’ve played than the talent of their defensive unit. In their biggest test of the season, the Tigers allowed South Carolina running back Raheim Sanders to rush for 143 yards and two touchdowns. 

Parrish is a more proven back than Sanders, and the Rebels are one of the best offensive teams in the nation. Because of this, there may even be some value in taking 3+ touchdowns (+800 via FanDuel).

Earlier this week when I made my best Ole Miss vs. LSU prediction, Dart to hit his Over was my play of the game. At the time, Dart’s total was set at 284.5 for -114 at FanDuel. The number has since gone up to 295.5 at FanDuel.

While three of our four best sports betting sites offering this prop list the total at 289.5 or higher, BetMGM is still clinging to 284.5.

Dart has certainly been more impressive against nonconference opponents this season than against SEC teams. However, he’s still thrown for at least 261 yards in every game. Last week, he threw for 285 in a game that was essentially over at halftime.

The Tigers are allowing more than 258 passing yards per game. BetMGM is giving Dart just a 53.49% chance of hitting this over. But FanDuel is giving him the same chance of going over 295.5. Based on Dart’s season and the Tigers’ defense, this total and price don’t match up.

Nussmeier’s lowest passing total this season is 285 yards. He’s had his success mostly against bad defenses, which could be a problem since he faces a pass defense allowing just 215.4 passing yards per game.

But the main reason to like Nussmeier tonight is that he’s been playing most of the season with the lead. In a game that will either be back-and-forth or led by the Rebels, Nussmeier will see an increase in attempts. For a quarterback who has thrown at least 37 passes in every game this season, getting more volume means there is no ceiling for this contest.
