The Alabama Crimson Tide host the Ole Miss Rebels in an SEC West showdown between a pair of ranked schools, and we've got you covered with our top Ole Miss vs. Alabama prediction based on the best college football odds across our best sports betting apps.

Alabama followed up its first loss of the season with a ho-hum Week 3 win. And, after a lackluster performance from the offense, quarterback Jalen Milroe returns as the starter after sitting out against the South Florida Bulls. Milroe will look to spark the offense and get the Tide rolling again.

On the flip side, Ole Miss heads to Bryant-Denny Stadium with a 3-0 record, and quarterback Jaxson Dart has impressed. He has aired it out for 852 passing yards and seven touchdowns while leading the offense to an eye-popping average of 526.7 yards per game.

Here is our best Ole Miss vs. Alabama prediction and our college football picks (odds via our best college football betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Ole Miss vs. Alabama prediction: Week 4

Over 55.5 (-105 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐

How bad was the Crimson Tide’s offensive performance last week? The Bulls’ defense gave up 65 points in its previous two games, 24 of which had come against Florida A&M. The field conditions were less than ideal, but that doesn’t excuse racking up just 310 yards of offense, while the defense allowed 264.

Yet, this week could be a completely different story with Milroe under center. While he has been far from dominant in his two starts this season, he is a dual threat, and he will be going against a defense that has allowed a lot of points this season.

The Rebels have looked incredible offensively, but defensively they have struggled. They allowed 23 points and 474 yards to the Yellow Jackets last week in a game that was closer than the final score suggests.

The Crimson Tide defense allowed only three points last week, but they did not look like their usual selves against Texas the week before. Dart and the Ole Miss offense should be able to put up some points in this game.

We’re avoiding the spread because we truly don’t know what to expect from Alabama. But we think the Rebels’ offense and Milroe’s presence will be able to do enough to push this game Over, even if one team does all of the scoring.

Because this is just a two-star play, we want to get the best price available. Even though placing this wager at FanDuel means needing one point more than BetMGM, the price at BetMGM is simply too high for this wager.

Of our best sports betting apps offering this total at 55.5, FanDuel is the only one with a better price than -110. That makes it the obvious best sportsbook to wager at.

Ole Miss vs. Alabama odds analysis

The Crimson Tide opened as 7-point favorites, and there has been no movement at any of our best sports betting sites. Around 53% of wagers back the Rebels to cover the spread in this one. While movement in either direction will be significant for bettors, we’re not sure it’s going to happen based on how bets have been placed thus far.

The total opened at 54.5, and it has either stayed put or gone up to 55.5 at each of the five major sportsbooks. Roughly 61% of bettors are currently backing the over, and with Milroe starting at quarterback for the Crimson Tide this week, this number could continue to climb.
