This week's parlay features teams currently on the outside looking in regarding the College Football Playoff picture. However, these teams either control their destiny or can enter the playoff discussion with solid play down the stretch.

College football parlay Week 10

Oregon -23.5 vs. California (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

California will likely get a lot of betting attention, given that it was a late two-point conversion away from upsetting USC last week. However, unlike the Trojans, the Ducks actually play defense and might be the most complete team in the country as a result.

Oregon scored 35 points against Utah, the most the Utes have allowed in over a calendar year, and ended their 18-game home winning streak (was the third-longest active home winning streak entering Saturday) in the process. The Ducks improved to 14-1 when Bo Nix is responsible for three or more touchdowns. And the Heisman Trophy odds hopeful has nine straight games with a 70% completion rate and two or more passing touchdowns, the longest FBS streak in 20 years.

The Ducks are one of eight teams with a Top 20 ranking in both Offensive and Defensive SP+, and as arguably the best one-loss team in the country, they would still benefit from style points in the CFP's committee's eyes with dominant wins down the stretch.

Alabama ML vs. LSU (-152) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

FanDuel provides excellent value with these moneyline odds, as the Crimson Tide are no shorter than -164 at any of our other best sports betting sites.

Since 2010, just two teams (LSU 2010-2011, Ole Miss 2014-2015) have beaten Alabama in consecutive years. The Crimson Tide will have revenge on their minds after last year's 32-31 overtime loss to LSU.

Look for head coach Nick Saban to challenge LSU's secondary, which will be missing two starting cornerbacks (Darian Chestnut and Zy Alexander), especially since the Tigers rank 106th in Passing Success Rate allowed. In addition, the Crimson Tide should rattle Heisman hopeful Jaylen Daniels with the fourth-highest sack percentage and a Top-15 overall pressure rate.

This is a confident five-star play, as Alabama has won 92.2% of its home games (106-9) since 2007 and is 75-19 overall against ranked opponents in that span. Thus, it will take a much better defensive team than LSU to spring the upset in Tuscaloosa.

Oklahoma-Oklahoma State Under 62.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II is generating serious Heisman buzz after joining Barry Sanders (1988) as the only running backs in school history to rush for 250-plus yards in consecutive games. In addition, Gordon II has five consecutive 100-yard rushing performances and averaged better than eight yards per carry in that span while becoming the second FBS player with 250 or more scrimmage yards in three straight games.

Thus, the Cowboys can use Gordon to bleed the clock and keep a Sooners offense that ranks fifth in SP+ off the field. However, the strength of an Oklahoma defense that ranks in the Top 30 in SP+ is in the trenches, as the Sooners rank second in Stuff Rate. In addition, they entered last week ranked in the Top 10 in Finishing Drives allowed and held the Jayhawks to touchdowns on just three of seven drives that entered their territory.

This is a four-star play, as the Under has cashed in three of the previous four meetings between these teams and has stayed, on average, 10.8 points below the projected total in that span.
