⬆️ E.J. Warner Over 182.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

Fresno State vs. Kansas player props

Warner, son of former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, is a gunslinger - for better or worse. He averaged 246.4 passing yards per game at Rice last year and averaged 307.6 at Temple the year prior. Those yards came with plenty of interceptions, but those may just force him to keep throwing.

Fresno State’s offensive coordinator, Josh Davis, most recently served in the same role for South Dakota at the FCS level. Last year, Davis’ quarterback averaged 211.2 passing yards per game and surpassed this total in all but three contests.

The Kansas defense struggled against the pass last year, so getting Warner to go over 182.5 for -115 (53.5%) at Hard Rock to secure an $8.70 profit on a $10 wager stands out as a sharp play. I have him hitting this number as part of my Fresno State vs. Kansas parlay picks and predictions, too.

⬇️ Daniel Hishaw Jr. Under 86.5 rushing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

Fresno State vs. Kansas player props

With Devin Neal gone to the NFL, Kansas will turn to a new running back this fall. Daniel Hishaw Jr. is penciled in as the starter. Hishaw averaged an impressive 5.8 yards per carry last year but may struggle to replicate the success with a higher-volume workload.

Fresno State head coach Matt Entz is a defensive specialist, and last year, he helped improve USC’s unit substantially. The Trojans ranked No. 117 in rushing yards allowed per game in 2023 (186.5) but jumped to No. 46 with him on the staff in 2024 (141.5).

It wasn’t just per-game production: USC improved from No. 106 in yards allowed per rush attempt (4.8) to No. 79 (4.5). Look for Entz to make his mark and bet on Hishaw to stay under 86.5 rushing yards for -115 (53.5%) at BetMGM for a tidy $8.70 profit on a $10 wager.

🔥 Jalon Daniels anytime TD scorer (+105) ⭐⭐

Fresno State vs. Kansas player props

With the turnover in Kansas’ backfield, we may see the Jayhawks trust Jalon Daniels with more carries than usual - especially in the red zone - as Hishaw transitions into the starter. Daniels is a capable rusher, averaging 36.6 rushing yards per game a season ago.

Daniels is no stranger to the end zone; he found it six times in 2024 with touchdowns in five contests. While I have plenty of faith in Entz and the Fresno State defense, Daniels has the speed necessary to score on either a designed run or a broken play.

He is +105 (48.78%) to score a touchdown at FanDuel, which would yield a $10.50 profit on a $10 wager. A few of the other best sportsbooks have this bet at plus money, with some books juicing this wager to as much as -127.

❓College football betting FAQs

What are the best Fresno State vs. Kansas player props?

Trusting quarterbacks E.J. Warner to pop as a passer and Jalon Daniels to find paydirt as a rusher are two of the best Fresno State vs. Kansas player props for Saturday.

How do college football player props work?

Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include a quarterback’s passing yards, a running back’s rushing yards, or a receivers receiving yards. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown.
