Bowl season for college football starts on Saturday, Dec. 13, with the final non-College Football Playoff bowl game being played on Friday, Jan. 2. The College Football Playoff runs from Friday, Dec. 19, to Monday, Jan. 20.

This year, there are 35 non-College Football Playoff bowl games featuring FBS teams, with an additional 11 College Football Playoff games, bringing the grand total of FBS games to 46 during bowl season. The Celebration Bowl (Saturday, Dec. 13) and FCS playoffs (Nov. 29-Jan. 5) will also provide 24 additional postseason college football games being broadcast by ESPN.
