Yes. If you can get those odds, I'd suggest putting a little on him. I waited too long here and am stuck using only one book for now, so I have to take what I can get.

Why do you like the Skugor play I understand the tourney is in his country but Dulgopolov is ranked #42 and 54-18 this year. I think Dulgo is the play stronger player and way more experience.

Well, I guess I'd have to say Skugor based on Dolgo's hammy injury in his last match and the fact that Skugor's odds opened at +200 something and have been dropping again. Hard to say 100% though. I'm just flat betting them all again.

I actually think Bolelli has a bit of a shot but am waiting to see what my book puts the handicap up as.

To tell you the truth, if I looked at rankings in the smaller tournaments I'd be broke. A player is ranked what they are based on a year-long accumulation of points - that says nothing about their form or motivation today, nor does it help when talking about a specific playing surface.

Skugor is 12-3 the last 3 months on clay. Dolgo is 8-6. In their first matches, Skugor won 77% of his first serve points, Dolgo won 60%. Skugor held serve 86%, Dolgo 77% and Skugor won 60% of return points while Dolgo won 42%. And as far as rankings, Dolgo was taken to 3 sets by someone who is double his ranking whereas Skugor beat someone with a better ranking by more than half 6-2 6-1.

That's the stuff I look at. And the fact that Skugor's odds have dropped considerably already and Dolgo suffered a hamstring injury in his match make me feel okay putting my money on Skugor. Nothing's a sure thing though of course, and if you see value in Dolgo then you should put money on him!!

I understand it's not all about rankings. But I think that Dulgo has the experience on the guy I'm going to have to take him on this one. Hopefully that hammy isn't too bad. But I wish you n every1 else luck on every other play.

What you guys think of Igor Andreev only -200 the other guy is garbage on clay he's 2-5 in his last 7 on clay I think this line should be more like -500 what's every1s thoughts? Thanks.

Shari I didn't watch the match so I don't know how Skugar played but Volandri is a shiton despite his record hes just playing challengers in italy the whole time.

I think this is more importantly about Dolgo's hammy. If Dolgo is healthy I think he'll win but I would think that hammy has got to be bothering him.

So... either Dolgo is hurt, the Croatian mafia are playing little tricks, the books are trying to give the impression that this match will play out like the 1st one but really Skugor backers are going to lose or the books once again set a bad line on Skugor and everyone has realised and jumped on.

Up to you I guess. I'd take him at that price though. The odds are dropping and yeah it may be a book set-up but it also may be because of one of the other factors I listed. If you're worried, maybe just bet a little? I'd like to put more on him now but there's no way I am at -200. Maybe I'll do the 2-0 thing again.
