An update a little sooner than expected. The folks over at Youbetonit made a exception for me on the tardiness of my request yesterday. Very nice of them to reach back out and make it happen. Going forward I will make my requests in the intended window as mentioned in the email above.

Communication here at this book has been off the charts good whether its texts or emails.....(especially the texting)

Take care gang and here's to a winning week number 1.

Update on my current payout situation:

    Good afternoon!

Thank you for your request. In your case we would like to remind you that as company policy, we payout a max of $2000 per week.

Also, We take payout requests from Monday thru Wednesday and your request came in late last night when all the CS reps had already turned in all the payout reports.

The next available window to request a payout will be next Monday.

Thank you for understanding. Have a good one.

    Best Regards,

I'm impressed you clear the rollover. I'm still chugging through mine :| I also have a decent sized balance there that I'm concerned about.

It was a sincere question, not designed to start an argument but instead a discussion. I still don't understand why it's a red flag that outside investors would want to invest in Youbetonit--if in fact that's what has occurred. Why would anyone want to jump aboard a sinking ship? I actually think it would be a good thing if YB had additional backing. Unlike you, I believe YB's business model is sustainable--because I have attempted their rollovers in the past and they are very difficult.

I dunno what SBR made there. But I wouldn't be angrily whoring myself out for 8k, thats for sure. ;-)
Hey I'm not telling anyone to play at YouBetonit, just relaying my experiences. Obviously there are additional risks there as they are a smaller Book, so posters can decide accordingly. As long as I'm "whoring myself out", allow me to give a shoutout to Betnow another small book I like. Full disclosure--I have 17k there so I really really need everyone to play there so I can get paid.

Christ, I play at 6 or 7 SBR sponsor books and you have no problem when I make favorable posts about them. But when I chime in about a lesser known outfit I'm seen as a shil trying to insure my balance is safe. I could care less where others decide to play, but it's a forum and I'll freely share my opinion if that's ok with you.

Depends on what the rollover is on that particular bonus, and I'll bet you it's huge. I can tell you firsthand that their rollovers are tough to complete with their full juice lines. Fact is that I've busted more often than completing them. Truth is I no longer take bonuses there, instead opting for the reduced -105 lines. I currently have 8 grand there...is that a "bunch"? Not to me.

Not sure why you keep bringing up BetIslands as I don't see the correlation. BetIslands didn't have have any "backers" coming to their rescue at the end. Further, their business model was a disaster (i.e. free 1/2 points off any number including 3 and 7 and small ROs on their big bonuses). In hindsight, their demise should not have been a surprise. I was burned like many others when they went under, and I'll take my share of the blame for not seeing the inevitable. I think the only one to come out ahead on that debacle was SBR. How much did you guys make in advertising revenue with this scam Book?

I guess they paid you a bunch huh?

Lately I've received payment same or next day, which is encouraging. While not for everyone, I think YB is a decent out.

Not the mere fact they have backers. But that they are only able to pay out more because of their backers. That should have nothing to do with it. They've been in business for a while now.

My understanding is simply when when asked why are you able to now pay out more weekly now verses before? They stated they have investors.

It’s not like they are telling people this.

It’s not being promoted as such.

I'm not doubting this is what you heard, but it doesn't make much sense to me. Either your book is solvent or it isn't. If you're operating a book effectively, there should be no difference between paying out $4,000 and $2,000. Because you're taking in more than you're paying out. If someone told me that they had to rely on "backers" to pay players what they are owed, that would actually deeply concern me about their operation. Let's face it - the reason books put limits on payouts is to keep more funds in their coffers for longer, so players will be more likely to play and lose. "Backers" sounds like mumbo jumbo to me.

Edit: Or kind of what Optional said. Guess I should have read the next page first.

Just manage your book properly, pay your withdrawals when asked for them, and no need to talk rubbish about backers. No need for a backer to pay your bills when running an unregulated sportsbook if you operate it professionally.
