Well, its april 19th. Becky said she'd email on an update. Guess i'll be emailing maria after today. Hell if someone is getting a "promise" of soon for 11/2010. Hopefully one from nearly 2 years ago will come next week. Ill keep my eyes, wide-open...

Hey guys, I've been living under a rock and didn't know about WSEX's fall from grace, just placing the occasional bet over the last handful of years with money that's been in there since they were one of the golden children.

Last month I coincidentally requested a cashout of half my balance by xxxxx (regular mail) and forgot about it. Yesterday I was starting to wonder if I hadn't received and lost it (I'm not an avid mail-checker) so I called up and they said it hadn't been sent yet.

So, I'm wondering for those of you with hindsight: How should I proceed? Should I wait before cashing out the rest? Use a different cashout method? B2B? And at what point should I be registering a complaint with SBR?

You seriously may as well save your energy and either start believing in God, wait, or forget, because the chances of seeing your money is/will slowly become more and more unlikely.

I remember I withdrew some money from WSEX after the Saints won the Super Bowl which was basically about 1.5 years ago, and I got my payment in August. It took 6 months! Is it now taking longer? I'm just curious, cause I made a withdrawal today (April 22, 2011), so when should I expect the xxxxx to come? by Thanksgiving??? or Christmas??

I'm afraid that the answer to your question (of when you should expect to receive pmt) is: you should not expect to receive any payment. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised someday, but at this point the expectation should be to get stiffed. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, and good luck to all of us

Has anyone really got stiffed yet? I thought I was going to get stiffed last year, but my check still came, albeit 6 months later. I have about $200 left in my WSEX acct, and I just withdrew the whole amount, so you really think I'm not gonna see that 200??

I would not count on that money.. if you get it consider it the same as finding a 20 in an old jacket. They have not officially stiffed anyone but they owe over half a mil to players and unless someone buys Wsex the chances of you getting that money anytime soon is slim.

got a 2nd (insert payment method here) last week. just so happens it is from the same entity that poker stars uses to payout their customers. needless to say, the feds have locked down payments from that entity. has been in a hold status at my bank for a week.

And they'er still sending out emails trying to attract deposits. I would be ready to think of them as good guys who got in over their heads, but continuing to take deposits from people who they can't pay makes them slimey.

They really should only be sending out those emails to players who don't have a pending withdrawal.

I re-upped at WSEX for a small amount recently for the first time in years, unaware of all of their issues (I know, but my other outs weren't taking CCs and it was a rushed deal).

Anyways, I turned that small deposit into a fairly sizeable amount.

Is there any chance I see this money? Safe to assume there's not a book on earth taking transfers from them? Any advice on how to avoid waiting a year or getting stiffed altogether?

Huge bummer. If it had been 5d or BM, I'd be collecting a fat check and paying off all of my bills right now.

Paid out 100% ...... finally.

Owed me $2500 that I requested in November. Paid $1250 in early April and the remaining $1250 this week.

I thought that $$ was a "stupidity tax" - if they still owe you money keep sending weekly reminders - you might just get it all back.

You would have to be nuts to deposits more $$ with them.

No more posts for me in this forum.... I hope.

I've had my own headaches with WSEX but one thing I've yet to see is one person say they were stiffed by WSEX, sure you may not get your money for a year but seems you will always eventually get it..

In any civilised jurisdiction it would have been shut down and its management facing charges for trading whilst insolvent.
